Mizzou is averaging 43.2 points per game this season and nearly 500 yards of offense per contest.

Northwestern has had a terrific season under third year Head Coach Pat Fitzgerald. The Wildcats returned 15 starters from last year's 6-6 team and they parlayed that experience into a 9-3 record this year. Northwestern went 5-3 in conference play, which was good enough for a fourth place finish in the Big 10 standings. Fitzgerald's troops are currently ranked 23rd in the BCS standings.

The Wildcats defense has held teams to 337.8 yards per game this season, translating into a 19.3 points per game allowed average.
