Wisconsin vs. Miami College Bowl Picks – 2009 Champs Sports Bowl: In Tuesday's Champs Sports Bowl matchup of Wisconsin and Miami, fans will see two young teams that are probably a year away from getting into the BCS picture. Both teams are 9-3, and this game could be used as a gauge of the relative merits of the ACC and Big Ten.
A major key to the game will be the health of Miami quarterback Jacory Harris. He injured his thumb in a game against North Carolina on Nov. 14. He played through the injury the final two regular season games. Harris has said the pain returned once bowl practices began. How effective Harris will be is unknown.
Wisconsin is 14th in the nation in rushing offense, but just 71st in passing offense. Miami is 28th in rushing defense and has allowed just two rushing touchdowns in the past seven games.
