Utah vs. TCU College Football Picks: In a game that likely decides the Mountain West championship, another potential BCS buster, No. 4 TCU, hosts 14th-ranked Utah (7:30 pm Eastern, CBS College Sports).
 College football picks oddsmakers at BetUS.com are showing little respect for the Utes having installed TCU as 20-chalk favorites with a 47 total. Utah backers are getting +800 odds on the BetUS moneyline while TCU is giving -1400.
Texas Christian needs to beat Utah if it hopes to repeat what the Utes did last season; go undefeated and play in a BCS bowl game. TCU reached 9-0 this season with a 55-12 trouncing of San Diego State last week. TCU covered as a 24.5-point road favorite while the final score finished over the 48-point total.
Utah, meanwhile, beat New Mexico last week 45-14 for its sixth straight victory. It was also freshman quarterback Jordan Wynn's first collegiate start. Utah covered as a 27-point home favorite while the final score played over the 47.5-point total.
Last year the Utes edged the Frogs 13-10 despite getting outgained 444-275.
College football picks: This should be the year TCU breaks through with a MWC tital with a BCS bowl thrown in the mix. However; covering as a 20-point favorite will prove to be difficult against a quality Utes defense. Take the Utes and the points.

College Football Picks: Florida vs. South Carolina: Still ranked No. 1 in the BCS, AP and USA-Today/Coaches college football polls, the SEC East leading Florida Gators travel to Columbia, South Carolina to play the University of South Carolina Gamecocks in a battle between SEC East teams. This game will be televised by CBS with a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
 College football picks oddsmakers at BetUS.com are showing the Gamecocks little respect by installing the Gators as 18-chalk road favorites with a 43 total. Carolina backers are getting +650 odds on the BetUS moneyline as a home underdog while Florida is giving -900.
Betting trends show the Gators are 5-0 SU in their last five games and an equally 5-0 SU on the road in their last five. Against the Gamecocks the Gators have gone 12-1 SU over the last 13 games played. The Gators are 10-1-1 ATS in its last 12 games on the road.
South Carolina is 5-0 SU in its last five games at home and are 1-4 ATS in its last five games. The Gamecocks are 3-6 ATS versus the Gators in their last nine games at home or on the road.
Florida kept Vanderbilt from getting into the end zone, as they cruised to a 27-3 victory in Week 10. Florida failed to cover the 34.5-point spread, and the game's 30 points went UNDER the posted total of 47. Tim Tebow completed 15-of-20 for 208 yards with a touchdown, and ran for another in leading the way.
Stephen Garcia passed for 327 yards with a touchdown and an interception for South Carolina in a 33-16 loss to Arkansas in Week 10. The Gamecocks did not cover the 7.5-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the day's posted total of 56.

Tennessee at Ole Miss College Football Picks: Just when Tennessee appeared to have its football program heading in the right direction, it is rocked by an off-field event that potentially could affect play on the field due to the distraction. Three Volunteer freshmen football players were allegedly engaged in an armed robbery in the early morning hours on Thursday at a gas station near the Tennessee campus. Included in the arrest is prized wide-receiver NuKeese Richardson. Also allegedly involved were safety Janzen Jackson and defensive back Mike Edwards.
 On Saturday Tennessee travels to play Ole Miss in the always difficult venue of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on the University of Mississippi campus in Oxford. Prior to the arrest of the three Tennessee players, Ole Miss was favored for this game by a 3 1/2-chalk by college football picks oddsmakers at BetUS.com. Since Thursday, the betting line has shifted by two points currently favoring Ole Miss on the BetUS board by -5 1/2 with a 48 total.  Iowa vs. Ohio State College Football Picks: A Rose Bowl berth will be at stake on Saturday when the No. 10 Ohio State Buckeyes host the No. 15 Iowa Hawkeyes in a ABC televised game with kickoff time set for 3:30 pm ET at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
