Utah vs. TCU College Football Picks: In a game that likely decides the Mountain West championship, another potential BCS buster, No. 4 TCU, hosts 14th-ranked Utah (7:30  pm Eastern, CBS College Sports).

College football picks oddsmakers at BetUS.com are showing little respect for the Utes having installed TCU as 20-chalk favorites with a 47 total. Utah backers are getting +800 odds on the BetUS moneyline while TCU is giving -1400.

Texas Christian needs to beat Utah if it hopes to repeat what the Utes did last season; go undefeated and play in a BCS bowl game. TCU reached 9-0 this season with a 55-12 trouncing of San Diego State last week. TCU covered as a 24.5-point road favorite while the final score finished over the 48-point total.

Utah, meanwhile, beat New Mexico last week 45-14 for its sixth straight victory. It was also freshman quarterback Jordan Wynn's first collegiate start. Utah covered as a 27-point home favorite while the final score played over the 47.5-point total.

Last year the Utes edged the Frogs 13-10 despite getting outgained 444-275.

College football picks: This should be the year TCU breaks through with a MWC tital with a BCS bowl thrown in the mix. However; covering as a 20-point favorite will prove to be difficult against a quality Utes defense. Take the Utes and the points.

College Football Picks: Florida vs. South Carolina: Still ranked No. 1 in the BCS, AP and USA-Today/Coaches college football polls, the SEC East leading Florida Gators travel to Columbia, South Carolina to play the University of South Carolina Gamecocks in a battle between SEC East teams. This game will be televised by CBS with a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff.

Florida vs. South Carolina College Football PicksCollege football picks oddsmakers at BetUS.com are showing the Gamecocks little respect by installing the Gators as 18-chalk road favorites with a 43 total. Carolina backers are getting +650 odds on the BetUS moneyline as a home underdog while Florida is giving -900.

Betting trends show the Gators are 5-0 SU in their last five games and an equally 5-0 SU on the road in their last five. Against the Gamecocks the Gators have gone 12-1 SU over the last 13 games played. The Gators are 10-1-1 ATS in its last 12 games on the road.

South Carolina is 5-0 SU in its last five games at home and are 1-4 ATS in its last five games. The Gamecocks are 3-6 ATS versus the Gators in their last nine games at home or on the road.

Florida kept Vanderbilt from getting into the end zone, as they cruised to a 27-3 victory in Week 10. Florida failed to cover the 34.5-point spread, and the game's 30 points went UNDER the posted total of 47. Tim Tebow completed 15-of-20 for 208 yards with a touchdown, and ran for another in leading the way.

Stephen Garcia passed for 327 yards with a touchdown and an interception for South Carolina in a 33-16 loss to Arkansas in Week 10. The Gamecocks did not cover the 7.5-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the day's posted total of 56.

College football picks: Are you looking for a good value? Our advice is take the Old Ball Coach and his Gamecocks and the +18 chalk. This game is overlined favoring the Gators. If you have some extra fun cash, take a risk and throw it on the Gamecocks moneyline at +650.

South Carolina has lost two straight to quality SEC teams, Tennessee and Arkansas, but is also a team with plenty of potential, a good quarterback and solid defense until last week led the SEC in passing defense.

Tennessee vs. Ole Miss College Football Picks PDF Print E-mail

Tennessee at Ole Miss College Football Picks: Just when Tennessee appeared to have its football program heading in the right direction, it is rocked by an off-field event that potentially could affect play on the field due to the distraction. Three Volunteer freshmen football players were allegedly engaged in an armed robbery in the early morning hours on Thursday at a gas station near the Tennessee campus. Included in the arrest is prized wide-receiver NuKeese Richardson. Also allegedly involved were safety Janzen Jackson and defensive back Mike Edwards.

Tennessee vs. Ole Miss College Football PicksOn Saturday Tennessee travels to play Ole Miss in the always difficult venue of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on the University of Mississippi campus in Oxford. Prior to the arrest of the three Tennessee players, Ole Miss was favored for this game by a 3 1/2-chalk by college football picks oddsmakers at BetUS.com. Since Thursday, the betting line has shifted by two points currently favoring Ole Miss on the BetUS board by -5 1/2 with a 48 total. Tennessee backers are getting +190 odds on the BetUS moneyline while Ole Miss is giving -230.

Today's game is considered a must win for both the Vols and Rebels. At 2-3 in SEC play, neither school is a player in the league championship picture but are posturing for better position in the post-season bowl selection order.

Tennessee has picked up some momentum by winning two straight games, South Carolina and Memphis, since their hard fought loss to Alabama in Week 8. The Rebels slipped in week 10 after losing to Auburn 20-33 last week as a 6-chalk favorite. The 53 points scored went OVER the posted 50 total.

Jonathan Crompton threw for five touchdowns and rushed for another in Week 10, leading Tennessee to a 56-28 win over Memphis. Tennessee covered the 25-point spread, and the 84 points sailed OVER the posted total of 53. Crompton completed 21-of-27 for 330 yards, and Denarius Moore had two TD catches in that victory.

College football picks: Ole Miss is desperate for a quality win but will have trouble with Tennessee's solid defense. Look for Tennessee to cover the 5 1/2-chalk. CBS will provide national television coverage with an early Noon ET kickoff.

Northwestern vs. Illinois College Football Picks: Bragging rights for the State of Illinois are at stake on Saturday when the Northwestern Wildcats travel down to Champaign to play the University of Illinois Fighting Illini in a BIG TEN game at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff time for this ESPN-Classic televised game is set for Noon ET.

Northwestern vs. Illinois College Football PicksCollege football picks oddsmakers at Bodog.com list the Illini as 5-chalk favorites with a 48 total. Cats backers are getting +170 odds on the Bodog moneyline while Illinois is giving -200.

Illinois is trying to play catch-up after enduring a terrible start losing six of its first seven games, and putting head coach Ron Zook's job on the line. The Illini have now won two straight and are half way to bowl qualification with three games to go. While getting bowl qualified will be difficult for the Illini, a win over the Wildcats today would give the team needed confidence going into their final games versus Cincinnati and  Fresno State.

Northwestern, already bowl qualified with six wins and 6-4 record overall, is coming off an impressive 17-10 road victory over previously ranked BCS No. 4 Iowa  in week 10. Getting a win for the Cats will be more than bragging rights but for better bowl position. The Wildcats covered the 14-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the day's posted total of 45.

College football picks: Go with the Wildcats and their high powered offense to trip up the Illini.  We like the Cats as a SU winner (+170).

Iowa vs. Ohio State College Football Picks: A Rose Bowl berth will be at stake on Saturday when the No. 10 Ohio State Buckeyes host the No. 15 Iowa Hawkeyes in a ABC televised game with kickoff time set for 3:30 pm ET at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.

Iowa vs. Ohio State College Football PicksCollege football picks oddsmakers at online sportsbook BetUS.com list the Buckeyes as 16 1/2-chalk favorites versus the Hawkeyes with a 38 total. Iowa backers are getting +650 odds on the Bodog moneyline while Ohio State is giving -900.

A win will guarantee a a date with the Rose Bowl for either Hawkeyes or Buckeyes regardless of what happens in next week's games because of a BIG TEN tiebreaker rule. If Ohio State wins, it will clinch a share of its fifth straight BIG TEN championship.

The Hawkeyes (9-1, 5-1) fell from the ranks of the unbeaten Saturday losing 17-10 at home
to Northwestern. In the process, Iowa also lost its starting quarterback, junior Ricky Stanzi, to an ankle injury. Redshirt freshman James Vandenberg will most likely get the nod this week. Despite the loss, Iowa remains in the hunt for the Big Ten title and a trip to the Rose Bowl.

College football picks: Look for the Buckeyes stingy defense to take advantage of Iowa's new misfortunes on offense. Buckeyes win big. Take OSU giving 16 1/2.
