Tulsa vs SMU Betting Odds PDF Print E-mail

The June Jones era has gotten off to a slow start at SMU and it is unlikely that it will speed up any this weekend against the undefeated Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The Golden Hurricane, who are scoring an astounding 56.4 points per game, will give the Mustangs all they can handle this Saturday night at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.Tulsa vs SMU Betting Odds

College football betting odds at Heroescasino.com do not like SMU's chances as they are a +24.5 home underdog in this Conference USA tilt.

SMU is just 1-5 to open June Jones' tenure and he suspected that it might take some time for his new team to grasp the run and shoot style offense that he employs. The Mustangs 22.0 point per game average is testament that Jones assessment was most accurate. Still, the SMU offense is averaging 289 yards passing per game , which is is slightly more than the 268.3 they are allowing.

Tulsa, unlike SMU, has made an absolute mockery out of every defense they have faced this season. They have scored over 50 points in all five of their games except their opener at UAB (scored 45) and they have posted 62 and 63 in their last two games respectively. Quarterback David Johnson has been unreal, amassing a 214.8 passer rating and throwing for 23 touchdowns and 1682 yards in five games.

College Football Betting Trend: Tulsa is 4-1 straight up the last four years playing as a road favorite coming of back to back straight up wins.

Heroescasino.com's Tulsa vs SMU Betting Odds:

Tulsa Golden Hurricane -24.5 (-112), Over 78.5 (-104)

SMU Mustangs +24.5 (+102), Under 78.5 (-106)

Oklahoma Sooners vs Texas Longhorns College Football Pick PDF Print E-mail

No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners vs. No. 5 Texas Longhorns College Football Pick; Betting Line-Sooners by 6 ½ (Total 56 ½); Television-ABC-HD; Cotton Bowl Stadium; Dallas Texas: Betting lines provided by Sportsbook.com.

In terms of college football, the second Saturday in October is synonymous with one thing; the Red River rivalry battle between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners . This huge game is the earliest of the big rivalry games between powerhouses from the same conferences usually reserved for the seasons end.

Oddsmakers at online sports wagering leader Sportsbook.com list the Sooners as 6 1/2 –chalk favorites over the Horns with a 56 ½ total. Money Line prices have the Sooners favored at -240 while the Longhorns are getting +200.

This game is significant because the winner usually goes on to win the BIG 12 South Division and represent in the conference’s championship game in December.

So who will win? All the experts seem to be pointing to Oklahoma. While both teams have great offenses and Heisman Trophy caliber quarterbacks, the Sooners are considered the best team overall.

Both teams’ stats after five games are eerily similar. Almost mirror image for sure. Oklahoma has scored 12 more points than Texas but the Longhorns have allowed 12 fewer points by the opposition than Oklahoma.

The difference will probably come down to the quarterbacks, Colt McCoy of Texas and Sam Bradford of Oklahoma. Both Bradford and McCoy are 70% passers who put tremendous pressure on opponent’s defenses. If either team could find a solid running game, it would also be a huge advantage in the game.

Point-Spreads.com resident sports handicapper Reno Gold has a 1000% guaranteed pick for this game between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma University Sooners. This link---RENO GOLD PICKS-- will put take you where you need to go in order to make solid bets. Let Reno and his staff do all the work. All you need to worry about is cashing your chips.

UCLA vs Oregon Betting Odds PDF Print E-mail
Written by Matt Foust
Saturday, 11 October 2008

The UCLA Bruins, who had the equivalent of a bye last week against Washington State, will meet some real competition this Saturday when they travel to Eugene, OR to face the Ducks. Oregon is coming off a 44-10 road loss to USC, and they will no doubt be happy to see the blue and gold of UCLA. UCLA vs Oregon Betting Odds

College football betting odds at SBGglobal.com have the Ducks as a big -20 home favorite.

In the first quarter of last week's game against the Trojans, Oregon looked as though they might have a shot at an upset. They continued their solid play into the early part of the second quarter but a couple of critical errors right before the half cost Oregon dearly. They went to the locker room trailing 27-10 and were never able to recover.

Despite the paltry 10 point total against USC, the Ducks have exhibited a high-powered offense all season long , averaging 41.2 points per game.

UCLA has had its share of struggles this season (2-3) and not much has gone right, save last week's game against Washington State, since their dramatic season opening win versus Tennessee. The Bruins are scoring an average of just 19.2 points per game while allowing 30.6 per contest. In their only road game this season, they were blown out by a stellar BYU team 59-0.

College Football Betting Trend: UCLA is 3-7 straight up in their last 10 as a road underdog.

SBGglobal.com's UCLA vs Oregon Betting Odds:

UCLA Bruins +20 (-110)

Oregon Ducks -20 (-110)

Western Michigan vs Buffalo Betting Odds PDF Print E-mail

Saturday, 11 October 2008

The 5-1 Western Michigan Broncos, along with the Ball State Cardinals, appear to be the class of the MAC at this juncture in the college football season. The Buffalo Bulls will get their chance to say something about that this Saturday at UB Stadium in Buffalo, New York. The Bulls are 2-3 on the year, but they have played road games at Pittsburgh and Missouri.Western Michigan vs Buffalo Betting Odds

College football betting odds at Looselines.com are favoring Buffalo at -1.

Last weekend Turner Gill's Bulls lost a hard fought game to confernce rival Central Michigan on the road. Statistically the contest was pretty even, but it was Central Michigan's ability to move the ball on the ground that led to Buffalo's undoing.  Bulls Quarterback Drew Willy , despite the loss, played another solid game (270 yards passing, two touchdowns) and he continued to build on what has been an excellent senior season.

Western Michigan took their win streak to five games last weekend by dumping the Ohio Bobcats 41-20. The Broncos lone defeat took place on August 30th against the Cornhuskers in Lincoln, NE. Adding to the grandeur of their five victories is the fact that three of them have come against conference opponents.

Western Michigan quarterback Tim Hiller , like his counterpart this Saturday, is having a great season under center. Hiller has thrown 19 touchdowns to just four interceptions and he has a 158.4 passer rating.

College Football Betting Trend: The Under is 4-1 in Western Michigan's last five gmaes as a road underdog in conference play.

Looselines.com's Western Michigan vs Buffalo Betting Odds:

Western Michigan Broncos +1 (-110)

Buffalo Bulls -1 (-110)

Kansas State vs Texas A&M Betting Odds PDF Print E-mail

Saturday, 11 October 2008

When the Texas A&M Aggies and the Kansas State Wildcats meet at Kyle Field this Saturday afternoon, they will not have a great deal of positives to discuss. While the Wildcats sport a slightly better 3-2 record, both teams were destroyed in their conference openers last weekend. TeKansas State vs Texas A&M Betting Oddsxas A&M can at least use the excuse that they were on the road.

College football betting odds at Sportsbook.com have Kansas State as a -3.5 road favorite in this Big 12 North versus South battle.

Kansas State Head Coach Ron Prince cannot be pleased with his team's play in recent weeks. His squad got off to a great start against a couple of rummies (North Texas and Montana State), but have since dropped two of their last three games. The win in their losing sandwhich was a 45-37 squeacker against Lousiana-Lafayette, a game in which they were outgained by 39 yards.

The Wildcats have been unable to run the ball most of the season , and they have had even more difficulty stopping the run.

Texas A&M has little to brag about either. The Oklahoma State Cowboys lit up the Aggies to the tune of 56 points last week. A&M not only assisted the Oklahoma State with some poor defensive play, they also had five turnovers in the bludgeoning.

The Aggies, like the Wildcats, cannot not seem to stop the run. This major flaw led to them being beat at home by Arkansas State to open the season, and to their narrow 21-17 escape against Army prior to their game with the Cowboys.

College Football Betting Trend: The Over is 7-3 in Kansas State's last 10 as a road team with a game total over 54.5.

Sportsbook.com's Kansas State vs Texas A&M Betting Odds:

Kansas State Wildcats -3.5 (-110), Over 61.5 (-110), -160 (Money line)

Texas A&M Aggies +3.5 (-110), Under 61.5 (-110), +140 (Money line)
