Pittsburgh vs North Carolina State College Football Picks, College Football Odds & College Football Predictions: The Pittsburgh Panthers and the North Carolina State Wolfpack will have one final non-conference clash before beginning league play next weekend. Each squad will serve as the other's respective tune up as the two teams meet this Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kickoff is set for 3:30pm ET at Carter-Finley Stadium; the game will broadcast live on ESPNU. College Football Picks at Sportsbetting.com have the Wolfpack listed as a slight -1 against the spread home favorite.

Dave Wannstedt's Panthers improved to 3-0 last weekend, beating the Navy Midshipmen 27-14 at Heinz Field. Pittsburgh Pittsburgh vs North Carolina State College Football Picks, Odds & Predictionsracked up 369 yards and 18 first downs in the win. Quarterback Bill Stull continued his solid play, completing 17-of-24 passes for 245 yards and a score. Stull's play to this point has been much improved over his 2008 campaign. The senior has connected on over 70-percent of his throws and has a 6 to 1 touchdown to interception ratio.

Pitt's defense bounced back from a sub-par effort in the team's 54-27 win over Buffalo, holding Navy to 218 total yards. Most impressive, though, was the fact that the Middies vaunted rushing attack amassed just 129 yards and averaged 2.8 yards per carry.

North Carolina State beat FCS school Gardner-Webb 45-14 last Saturday to bring their record to 2-1. The Wolfpack offense, which looked anemic in the season opener against South Carolina, took advantage of the lesser competition and churned out 477 yards. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw four touchdowns passes for the second consecutive week in the win. He also completed 26 of his 36 pass attempts for 345 yards. Wilson, who won first team ACC honors last year, set an NCAA record in the victory for the most pass attempts (325) without an interception.

The Wolfpack defense held the Runnin' Bulldogs to 13 first downs and 213 yards. Gardner-Webb converted just one of 13 third down opportunities.

North Carolina State will need to shore up their pass protection this weekend against Pitt. Wilson has been sacked 10 times in three games and the Panthers pass rush has generated 16 sacks this season (5.3 per game).

College Football Picks Betting Trend: NCST is 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games as a home favorite with a spread between 0 and 3.5.

South Florida vs Florida State College Football Predictions, College Football Picks & College Football Odds: The South Florida Bulls will make the short trek north this week to take on the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee. Head Coach Jim Leavitt's Bulls enter the contest 3-0 while the 'Noles come in at 2-1. The game will kickoff at 12:00pm ET this Saturday at Doak S. Campbell Stadium and be broadcast live on ESPNU. College Football Predictions at Sportsbook.com have Florida State listed as a -14.5 against the spread favorite.

South Florida crushed Charleston Southern 59-0 last weekend, but the news was not all good for the Bulls. Star quarterbackSouth Florida vs Florida State College Football Predictions, Picks & Odds Matt Grothe suffered a season ending knee injury in the win. Prior to his departure, Grothe completed 11-of-14 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Redshirt freshman B.J. Daniels stepped in for the senior passer and looked phenomal against the FCS Buccaneers. Daniels hit on 10 of his 13 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown and he also ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns in eight carries.

The Bulls defense held the Bucs to 188 total yards and nine first downs. Charleston converted just two of their 10 third down opportunities and possessed the ball 22:30.

Florida State shook off a horrendous performance against FCS Jacksonville State and thumped the seventh ranked BYU Cougars 54-28 in Provo, Utah last Saturday. The win vaulted the Seminoles to 18th in the rankings and improved their record to 2-1.

While Florida State certainly deserves credit for their play against the Cougars, BYU did more than its share to aid the Seminoles. The usually reliable Max Hall tossed three interceptions, one which was returned for a score, and Bronco Mendenhall's squad also lost two fumbles. All of the miscues led to a 39:51 to 20:09 time of possession advantage in favor of Florida State.

The Seminoles had 512 yards, 27 first downs, and converted 12 of their 15 third down opportunities in the win. They also ran the ball for 313 yards at 6.4 yards per clip. Quarterback Christian Ponder completed 21-of-26 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns while Ty Jones ran for 108 yards and a touchdown in 12 carries.

Fresno State vs Cincinnati College Football Odds, College Football Predictions & College Football Picks: Pat Hill's high mileage squad will travel to Cincinnati this weekend to take on the No. 14 Bearcats. The Bulldogs are coming off a hard hitting conference loss to Boise State while Brian Kelly's team is hoping to move their record to 4-0 after beating Oregon State in Corvallis. This exciting non-conference tilt is set to get underway at 12:00pm ET and can be seen live on ESPN360.com. College Football Odds at BetUS.com have the Bearcats listed as a -17 against the spread favorite.

Fresno State trailed Boise State 24-3 at one point last Friday, but roared back to make it an exciting finish at Bulldog Fresno State vs Cincinnati College Football Odds, Predictions & PicksStadium. The Broncos ultimately got the better of Pat Hill's troops, winning 51-34. Still, Fresno had no trouble racking up the yards against a stout Boise defense as they posted 507 for the game.

Junior running back Ryan Mathews steamrolled his way through the Broncos, rushing for an astounding 234 yards and three touchdowns in 19 carries. All three of Mathews scores came on 60 plus yard runs, helping him earn WAC Player of the Week honors. Quarterback Ryan Colburn had a mediocre outing, going 14-for-29 for 187 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions. He did, however, demonstrate a great deal of toughness, surviving several punishing hits from the Broncos defense.

The Bulldogs defense could not handle Chris Petersen's offense at all. Boise had 480 yards as quarterback Kellen Moore threw three touchdowns and running backs Jeremy Avery and D.J. Harper combined for 293 yards and a touchdown.

Cincinnati looks like a team set on repeating as Big East champion, jumping out to a 3-0 start with wins against quality foes Rutgers and Oregon State. The Beavers served as the latest Bearcat victim, losing 18-28 last Saturday in Corvallis. Cincinnati produced 408 yards in the victory, 332 of which came through the air.

Quarterback Tony Pike further increased his stock with a 31-for-49, 332 yard, two touchdown performance. Pike had a solid season last year, but he has taken his game to a new level this year, completing over 70-percent of his passes and producing four touchdowns to every one interception.

Wide receivers D.J. Woods and Mardy Gilyard were the chief contributors to Pike's dissection of the Oregon State secondary. Woods caught seven passes for 117 yards and a touchdown while Gilyard had nine catches for 65 yards and a score.

Cincinnati's defense gave up a modest 344 yards to the Beavers, but they held Oregon State's best player, running back Jacquizz Rodgers, to just 73 yards in 20 carries. The Bearcats front seven limited the OSU ground game to a 2.9 yard per carry average.

BetUS.com Fresno State vs Cincinnati College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks:

Fresno State Bulldogs +17 (-110), Over 61.5 (-110), +550 (Moneyline)

Cincinnati Bearcats -17 (-110), Under 61.5 (-110), -750 (Moneyline)

LSU vs Mississippi State College Football Odds, College Football Picks & College Football Predictions: The Mississippi State Bulldogs will host the LSU Tigers this Saturday in Starkville, Mississippi. The seventh ranked Tigers will look to go 4-0, and given their past success in Starkville, that would seem like a strong possibility. Kickoff in this SEC West battle is scheduled for 12:00pm ET at Davis Wade Stadium. College Football Odds at Bookmaker.com have the Bulldogs listed as a +12 against the spread home dog.

The Bulldogs rebounded from an awful loss at Auburn by beating the Vanderbilt Commodores 15-3 last Saturday in LSU vs Mississippi State College Football Odds, Picks & PredictionsNashville. The victory improved the Bulldogs to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in conference action.

The same defense that got rung up for over 500 yards against the Tigers limited Vandy to just 157. The Commodores managed just 10 first downs and held the ball for a meager 21:51. Defensive lineman Pernell McPhee was instrumental in creating Vanderbilt's offensive woes as he recorded two sacks and two tackles for loss. His performance earned him SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors.

Mississippi State's offense did not look like a powerhouse, but they did do enough things well enough to get the win. Quarterbacks Tyson Lee and Chris Relf combined to go 10-of-18 for 81 yards, complimenting a ground game that amassed 260 yards on 56 attempts. Three Bulldogs topped the 40 yard mark, but senior tailback Anthony Dixon did the bulk of the work with a 21 carry, 123 yard performance.

The Tigers brought their record to a perfect 3-0 last weekend, easily getting past Louisiana-Lafayette 31-3 at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. The Ragin' Cajuns posted similar offensive numbers to the Tigers, but could not overcome three turnovers. They finished the game with 272 yards, 18 first downs, and six third down conversions. LSU managed 330 yards, 23 first downs, and seven third down conversions.

Sophomore quaterback Jordan Jefferson completed 16-of-25 passes for 165 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. Jefferson hit wide receiver Brandon LaFell three times for 57 yards. LaFell reeled in both of the signal caller's TD passes. Despite the success of Jefferson and LaFell, Head Coach Les Miles leaned heavily on his run game, which produced 164 yards in 36 carries. Charles Scott led the team with 12 rushes for 63 yards.

College Football Odds Betting Trend: The Bulldogs are 0-6 against the spread and 1-5 straight up in their last six games as a home team versus LSU. The Tigers are 3-1 against the spread and 3-1 straight up in their last four games as a road favorite with a total between 41.5 and 44.

Mississippi vs South Carolina College Football Picks, College Football Odds & College Football Predictions: The South Carolina Gamecocks and the Mississippi Rebels kickoff week 4 of the college football season with an SEC East versus West tilt at Williams-Brice in Columbia, South Carolina. Tonight's meeting will be the first conference game of the season for the Rebels and the second for the Gamecocks, which faced Georgia two weekends ago. The game is scheduled to get underway at 7:30pm ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN. College Football Picks at Sportsbetting.com have the Rebels listed as a -3.5 against the spread favorite.

Houston Nutt's Rebel squad enters this evening's game with South Carolina sporting a No. 4 ranking and a 2-0 record. Mississippi vs South Carolina College Football Picks, Odds & PredictionsMississippi got an easy victory last weekend, pounding the Southeastern Louisiana Lions 52-6 in Oxford. Quarterback Jevan Snead boosted his Heisman credentials by completing 16 of his 28 pass attemtps for 209 yards and three touchdowns. Snead threw two scoring strikes in the Rebels week one win over Memphis and now has five touchdown passes to two interceptions on the young season.

Aiding Snead in Ole Miss' offensive outburst were running back Brandon Bolden and wide receiver Jesse Grandy. Bolden carried the ball 13 times for 105 yards while Grnady carried it twice for 57 yards and a touchdown. The Rebels finished the ball game with 25 first downs and 500 total yards.

Defensively Mississippi limited the Lions to 302 yards and 12 first downs. Southeastern Louisiana was unable to convert a single third down against the Rebels, going 0-14 for the game, and they managed just 86 rush yards (2.9 yards per carry).

South Carolina improved to 2-1, and rebounded from their 37-41 loss at Georgia, by beating the Florida Atlantic Owls 38-16 in Columbia. The Gamecocks flashed a high-powered offense for the second straight week, racking up 516 yards with effective passing (229 yards) and rushing attacks (287 yards). Quarterback Stephen Garcia had another big week, completing 20-of-27 for 222 yards and a touchdown.

Garcia was far from a one man gang, though, as three different Gamecocks rushed for over 50 yards. Freshman Jarvis Giles led the way for Steve Spurrier's squad, rushing for 113 yards and a touchdown in just 11 carries.

The Owls produced 307 yards in the loss, but they were able to generate 21 first downs and convert on seven of 15 third down opportunities. Florida Atlantic totaled 96 rush yards, but did so at a 2.7 yard per carry rate.

College Football Picks Betting Trend: The Gamecocks are 1-9 straight up in their last 10 games as a home underdog with a spread between 0 to 3.5. They are just 2-8 against the spread in those games as well.

Mississippi Rebels -3.5 (-120), Over 53 (-110), -170 (Moneyline)

South Carolina Gamecocks +3.5 (+100), Under 53 (-110), +150 (Moneyline)
