South Florida vs Pittsburgh College Football Picks, College Football Predictions & College Football Odds: The Pittsburgh Panthers will look to further secure their Big East lead when they meet the South Florida Bulls this Saturday at Heinz Field. Dave Wannstedt's troop currently sits atop the conference standings with a unblemished 3-0 league record. The Bulls are in fourth place, but could jump right back into the mix with a win at Pitt. The game between these two rivals is set to get underway at 12:00pm ET; it will can be seen live on ESPN360.com. College Football Picks at Bodog.com have the Panthers listed as a -7 against the spread favorite. South Florida, 5-1 (1-1 Big East), fell from the rankings and the ranks of the unbeaten last week, losing 17-34 to No. 5 Cincinnati in St. Petersburg. The Bulls 18th ranked defense met its match in the Bearcats high powered offense, giving up 21 first downs and 401 yards. Specifically, Cincy's run game gashed USF for 189 yards at 5.1 yards per clip. Further hurting the Bulls were 12 penalties for 113 yards and two turnovers. South Florida's offense played satisfactory in the loss, despite quarterback B.J. Daniels second two pick game of the season. Aside from the interceptions, Daniels completed 15-of-32 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed the ball 16 times for 74 yards and a touchdown. The Panthers ran their record to 6-1 last Saturday, winning their third straight conference game. Pitt took out the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 24-17 in Piscataway, New Jersey behind the strength of a dominating defensive performance. The Knights managed just 286 total yards, 16 first downs, and 1.9 yards per carry. Rutgers inability to run the ball led to a 6:32 time of possession advantage for the Panthers. Pittsburgh's offense racked up 21 first downs, 376 yards, and 10 third down conversions against Rutgers. Quarterback Bill Stull completed 16-of-24 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown, but the real star for the Panthers was freshman running back Dion Lewis. Lewis carried the ball 31 times for 180 yards and two touchdowns. The Albany, New York native, who has nine touchdowns on the season, now ranks second in the nation in rush yards with a total of 918. College Football Picks Betting Trend: The Over is 6-2 since 2004 when Pitt has played as a home favorite in the month of October. Clemson vs Miami College Football Predictions, College Football Picks & College Football Odds: Two of the top teams in the ACC will get together this weekend in Miami as the Clemson Tigers and the Miami Hurricanes square off at Land Shark Stadium. The eighth ranked Canes, at 5-1, would seemingly have more on the line in this game, but the Tigers, despite their 3-3 record, are in second place in the Atlantic division. Kickoff in this much anticipated conference meeting is set for 3:30pm ET on ABC. College Football Predictions at Bookmaker.com have the Hurricanes listed as a -4.5 against the spread favorite. The Tigers enter Saturday's meeting with Miami sporting the nation's 12th ranked defense. Clemson's defensive prowess was on full display in their last game as they rebounded from an unexpected loss at Maryland by drubbing Wake Forest 38-3. The Demon Deacons amassed a paltry 178 yards for the game, despite holding the ball 35:57. The Wake offense had fewer than 100 yards passing and averaged just 1.8 yards per carry.
Offensively, Clemson relied on all-world running back C.J. Spiller, who carried the ball just nine times, but still produced 106 yards and two touchdowns. Head Coach Dabo Swinney will probably depend on the same formula against the Canes this weekend as he knows his defense will have to play a pivotal role in a Tiger win. Specifically, Swinney expressed concern about shutting down quarterback Jacory Harris and the Hurricanes 39th ranked passing game. "We just have to get to (Harris) and hit him," Swinney said. "We can't let him get comfortable because if we do it will be a long day in South Beach." Miami, amazingly, is in fourth place in the ACC Coastal division, despite its 5-1 overall record and 2-1 mark in conference play. Randy Shannon's squad, however, will have plenty of opportunities to reach the top of the league standings as five of their last six games are against ACC foes. The Canes mopped up against non-conference, but in-state rival UCF last Saturday beating the Kinghts 27-7 in Orlando. Miami's offense posted 26 first downs and 363 yards in the easy win as Harris completed 20 of his 26 passes for 293 yards and a touchdown. Central Florida managed just 229 yards against the Hurricanes defense. Harris and company appear to be ready for a return to conference action having reeled off three straight non-conference wins since their embarassing 7-31 loss at Virginia Tech. According to Harris, Clemson's 3-3 record has deterred Miami's focus. "It feels like a rivalry game," Harris said. "Clemson has always been one of the top dogs in the ACC. No matter what game you're playing, they'll give you a tough game. We have to go out there and have a wonderful game against these guys." College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Miami is just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games as a home favorite. Bookmaker.com Clemson vs Miami College Football Predictions, Picks & Odds: Clemson Tigers +4.5 (-110), Over 44 (-110), +175 (Moneyline) Miami Hurricanes -4.5 (-110), Under 44 (-110), -205 (Moneyline) Signup today to bet your College Football Picks at online sportsbook Bookmaker.com and receive a 20% bonus! |

Georgia Tech vs Virginia College Football Picks, College Football Odds & College Football Predictions: The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Virginia Cavaliers will battle it out tonight for the lead in the ACC Coastal division this Saturday at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Cavs are presently in first place with a 3-3 overall record and a 2-0 conference mark. The No. 12 Yellow Jackets are 6-1 overall and 4-1 in league play. Kickoff is set for 12:00pm ET; the game be seen live on ESPN360.com. College Football Picks at SBGglobal.com have Tech listed as a -5.5 against the spread road favorite. The Ramblin' Wreck returned last weekend, running over Florida State to the tune of 532 total yards. Tech's triple option attack racked up 401 rush yards at a 7 yards per carry clip as quarterback Josh Nesbitt ran the ball 27 times for 140 yards and three touchdowns. Nesbitt also completed 4-of-8 passes for 131 yards and a score. Running back Jonathan Dwyer also chipped in with a 14 carry, 102 yard, two touchdown performance. Despite three turnovers, the Yellow Jackets had 25 first downs and held the ball for 32:03. Georgia Tech's defense, however, had little to brag about, giving up 539 yards to the Seminoles. Florida State had no trouble moving the ball against Paul Johnson's defense as the Seminoles 44 points, 26 first downs, and 10 third down conversions would suggest. The surprsing Cavaliers have stormed to the top of the division ranks with road wins at North Carolina and Maryland. Al Groh's squad enters Saturday's game riding a three game win streak with a victory over Indiana wedged between the two wins over the aforementioned conference foes. Last weekend Virginia scored a 20-9 victory over the Terps in College Park, thanks largely to their defense. The Cavs defensive unit, which is yielding just 18.7 points and 293.8 yards per game this season, held Maryland to 284 yards and forced four turnovers. Nate Collins returned one pick 32 yards for a touchdown. The Cavaliers offense certainly needed the extra possessions, despite doing little with them. Virginia managed a meager 201 yards and nine first downs against Maryland, which is giving up an average of 33.7 points per game this season. Quarterback Jameel Sewell, who left the game with an ankle injury, completed 13-of-23 passes for 137 yards and he rushed 13 times for -33 yards. College Football Picks Betting Trend: The Yellow Jackets are 1-5 against the spread and 0-6 straight up in their last six visits to Charlottesville. The Cavaliers are 8-2 against the spread and 7-3 straight up in their last 10 games as a home dog with a spread between 4 and 7.5. SBGglobal.com Georgia Tech vs Virginia College Football Picks, Odds & Predictions: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets -5.5 (-110), Over 46 (-110), -220 (Moneyline) Virginia Cavaliers +5.5 (-110), Under 46 (-110), +180 (Moneyline) Bet on sports at internet sportsbook SBG Global and receive up to 295% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today! |

Florida State vs North Carolina College Football Picks, College Football Predictions & College Football Odds: Tomorrow night two ACC bottom feeders will meet at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Florida State Seminoles currently occupy last place in the ACC Atlantic division with a 0-3 league record while the Tar Heels of North Carolina are in the cellar of the Coastal division with a 0-2 conference mark. One of the two squads will get off the snide tomorrow evening when things kick off at 8:00pm ET on ESPN. College Football Picks at SBGglobal.com are predicting that team to be the Tar Heels, which are presently listed as a -2.5 against the spread home favorite. Florida State fell to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in conference action last Saturday, losing a shootout to Georgia Tech 44-49 in Tallahasse. The Seminoles offense had its way against the Yellow Jackets defense, racking up 539 yards and 26 first downs. Quarterback Christian Ponder had a terrific game as he completed 26-of-36 passes for 359 yards and five touchdowns. His effort, though, was for naught as FSU's defense gave up 532 yards to Tech's offense. Paul Johnson's troops also converted 8-of-10 third downs and 2-of-2 fourth downs, which allowed them to hold the ball almost five minutes longer than Florida State. While Tech's effort was impressive, it was not totally out of the ordinary for the Seminoles defense to get run over. Bobby Bowden's group is giving up an average of 28.2 points and 428.2 yards per game this season. Despite the poor defensive effort, Bowden indicated his team has moved on and is ready to face the Tar Heels. "Every game is a new game," Bowden said. "You forget the last one, get your mistakes corrected and get on to the next game." North Carolina improved to 4-2 on October 10th and snapped a two game losing streak, beating FCS school Georgia Southern 42-12 in Chapel Hill. Prior to pasting the Eagles the Tar Heels dropped conference games against Georgia Tech (7-24) and Virginia (3-16). Butch Davis' squad still has a chance to climb back in the race, but a win over FSU tomorrow is a must. UNC will have to reverse recent history in order to get by the 'Noles as the Heels have dropped three of their last four games against FSU at Kenan Memorial. The Tar Heels first priority will be stopping Ponder and the passing game, something which they are well equipped to do. Davis' defense, which is ranked third in the nation, is holding opponents to an average of 14.2 points and 237.7 yards per game this year. Even though the Seminoles are 2-4, the Tar Heels defense is not taking them lightly. "Florida State is a great team," linebacker Quan Sturdivant said. "We've got to be prepared when we go out there and play those guys." College Football Picks Betting Trend: The Tar Heels are 0-6 against the spread since 1998 playing as a home favorite against an ACC foe with a total between 47.5 and 51. SBGglobal.com Florida State vs North Carolina College Football Picks, Predictions & Odds: Florida State Seminoles +2.5 (-110), Over 48 (-110), +120 (Moneyline) North Carolina Tar Heels-2.5 (-110), Under 48 (-110), -140 (Moneyline) Bet on sports at internet sportsbook SBG Global and receive up to 295% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today! |

Tulsa vs. UTEP College Football Picks: For the second straight week, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane will play a Wednesday night ESPN televised game when they travel to play the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Miners in a Conference-USA West Division battle at Sun Bowl Stadium.
Oddsmakers at super-sportsbook Bodog.com currently have the Golden Hurricane listed as 8½-point ATS and -360 moneyline favorites versus the Miners, while the game's total is sitting at 60. UTEP backers are getting +280 moneyline odds as a home underdog.
UTEP is a team currently looking for an identity. The Miners are a team, with plenty of talent, but are looking for consistancy as evidenced from defeating 12th ranked Houston in Week 6 before losing to woeful Memphis in Week 7. One thing is for sure - the Miners are a much better team at home, making this a dangerous trip for C-USA West favorites Tulsa.
Tulsa was defeated 28-21 by Boise State last time out as 9-point underdogs. The 49 points went UNDER the posted total of 56. G.J. Kinne threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns in that loss.
UTEP was downed by Memphis, 35-20, on the road in Week 6. Memphis covered as a 1.5-point home underdog while the final score played under the 58-point total.
College Football Picks: We do not expect a defensive battle. Each team could put up 30 or more. We like the OVER posted 60.
