Auburn vs LSU College Football Picks, College Football Odds & College Football Predictions: Auburn and LSU will battle it out for second place in the SEC West tomorrow as the two teams square off at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Gene Chizek's squad, currently sitting in third place, is 2-2 in conference play while Les Miles' Tigers are 3-1 and a game back of Alabama. The game is set to get underway at 7:30pm ET on ESPN2. College Football Picks at Bodog.com have LSU listed as a -7.5 against the spread favorite. Auburn fell to 5-2 overall and 2-2 in league play last Saturday after dropping its second consecutive conference game. The Tigers lost 14-21 at home to the Kentucky Wildcats a week after getting blasted by the Razorbacks 23-44 in Fayetteville. Auburn's offense, which is averaging 34.9 points and 464.9 yards per game this season, ground to a halt against the Wildcats, racking up just 16 first downs and 315 yards. Quarterback Chris Todd completed just 10-of-24 passes for 80 yards and one interception. The rushing attack kept the Tigers in the game, though, amassing 220 yards at 4.5 yards per carry. Auburn's defense, which has been suspect most of the season, yielded 21 first downs and 357 yards to Kentucky. The Wildcats were particularly effective on the ground, amassing 282 rush yards (5.8 yards per carry). LSU lost for the first time back on October 10th as the Florida Gators came into Baton Rouge and left with a 13-3 victory. The Tigers offense had no answer whatsoever for Urban Meyer's defense, posting a meager 12 first downs and 162 total yards. LSU converted just one third down in nine attempts and held the ball 23:30 compared to the Gators possession time of 36:30. Quarterback Jordan Jefferson was ineffective both passing and rushing as he accounted for a total of 95 yards. The Tigers defense played well, but still gave up 22 first downs and 327 yards to Tim Tebow and company. The Gators did most of their damage on the ground, gashing LSU for 193 rush yards (4.0 ypc). LSU should be well rested heading into tomorrow's game with Auburn, and it is highly unlikely that Les Miles' squad would drop back-to-back games at home. However, stranger things have happened. College Football Picks Betting Trend: LSU is 0-8-2 (1-9 ATS as home fav versus SEC in October) against the spread but 8-2 straight up in their last 10 games as a home favorite versus a conference foe. Florida vs Mississippi State College Football Odds, College Football Predictions & College Football Picks: The Florida Gators are in Starkville, Mississippi this weekend to take on SEC rival Mississippi State. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm ET at Davis Wade Stadium and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN. College Football Odds at online bookmaker SBGglobal.com have Florida listed as a -23 against the spread road favorite. Florida survived a huge scare last weekend, just getting by Arkansas 23-20 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, to move to 6-0 and further secure their first place position atop the SEC East. The Gators trailed late but scored 10 fourth quarter points to pull out the narrow win. Quarterback Tim Tebow directed Florida's offense, which had four turnovers in the game, to 24 first downs and 391 total yards while completing 17-of-26 passes for 255 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball 27 times for 69 yards. Florida's banged up defense, which could be minus up to three starters against the Bulldogs, gave up 357 yards to the Razorbacks, but still retained their spot as the nation's top unit. Head Coach Urban Meyer indicated his team better not sleep on Mississippi State, despite the Bulldogs 3-4 record. "We better be ready," Meyer said. "They are doing everything on defense that [has] bothered us on offense." The Bulldogs snapped a three game losing streak last weekend, beating Middle Tennessee State 27-6 in Murfreesboro. Mississippi State's defense held the Blue Raiders to 248 total yards and a 1.7 yards per carry average in the win. They also created four turnovers while the offense went without a ball security miscue for the first time this season. The Bulldogs are currently -4 in turnover margin on the year, despite last week's effort. If they can hang on to the ball, something they could not do in losses to LSU, Georgia Tech, and Houston, than they may have a shot at staying in this game. Head Coach Dan Mullen has more than staying in it on his mind, though. "We're coming in, planning to win the football game," Mullen said. "You never go play a game that you think you can't win. Our guys are focusing on winning the game, and focusing on doing the things you have to do to win the football game." College Football Odds Betting Trend: The Bulldogs are 1-3 straight up but 4-0 against the spread over the last five years when playing as a home dog coming off a road win. SBGglobal.com Florida vs Mississippi State College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks: Florida Gators -23 (-105), Over 49.5 (-110) Mississippi State Bulldogs +23 (-105), Under 49.5 (-110) Bet on sports at internet sportsbook SBG Global and receive up to 295% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today! |

Iowa vs Michigan State College Football Odds, College Football Picks & College Football Predictions: The Iowa Hawkeyes and the Michigan State Spartans are set to butt heads tomorrow evening at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. The No. 6 Hawkeyes are presently the top dog in the conference standings with a 3-0 league record, but the Spartans are just a game behind at 3-1. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm ET; the game can be seen live on the Big 10 Network. College Football Odds at Sportsbetting.com have the contest listed as a pick'em. Iowa ran its record to 7-0 last Saturday, getting the better of Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium by a socre of 20-10. Seldom do the Hawkeyes look good doing what they do, and they did not against the Badgers, but they still find a way to win. Kirk Ferentz' squad had just 283 yards and averaged a paltry 1.7 yards per carry, but their 22nd ranked defense held Wisconsin to 230 yards and 3-of-12 on third down. Quarterback Ricky Stanzi played a quality game, completing 17-of-23 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown. Freshman running back Adam Robinson had another solid outing, carrying the ball 20 times for 91 yards. Ferentz alluded to his team's ugly style of play this week, but he also suggested that winning is all that really matters. "We're certainly not the prettiest car in the lot," Ferentz said. "But that's OK. We're having a lot of fun." Michigan State, which knows a thing or two about ugly playing style, advanced its record to 4-3 last week with a 24-14 win over Northwestern in East Lansing. The victory was the Spartans third in a row and their third win against a Big Ten challenger (Michigan, Illinois). Mark Dantonio's troops have shown some tremendous resolve over the last few weeks and after a 1-3, they now find themselves in the thick of the conference race. Still, they might need something extra to get by the never say die Hawkeyes. "Iowa right now is playing as the best team in the Big Ten," Spartans quarterback Kirk Cousins said. "They're going to come here and have to go through us, obviously. We expect a great game from them. We're going to have to play better than we've played any week this season in order to have an opportunity to beat them." College Football Odds Betting Trend: Michigan State is 1-9 straight up and against the spread dating back to November of 2001 playing as a home team with a spread between 0 and 3.5. Arkansas vs Mississippi College Football Odds, College Football Picks & College Football Predictions: Offense meets defense this weekend as SEC West rivals Arkansas and Mississippi lock horns at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford. The Razorbacks will attempt to extract themselves from the West cellar with a win over the fourth place Rebels when the action gets underway at 12:21pm ET tomorrow (ESPN360.com). College Football Odds at BetUS.com have the Rebels listed as a -6.5 against the spread home favorite. Arkansas suffered a heart-breaking 20-23 loss last weekend against the Gators at the Swamp. The Razorbacks did not exactly burn up the turf, but they did take advantage of four Florida turnovers in route to 357 total yards. Quarterback Ryan Mallet completed 12-of-27 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown. He connected with sophomore wide receiver Greg Childs four times for 135 yards and one score. Running back Dennis Johnson carried the ball 14 times for 107 yards (7.6 yards per carry). The Hogs offense currently ranks 18th in the nation, putting up an average of 34.5 points and 436 yards per game. This weekend they face a Rebels defense that is allowing 300.2 yards per game, a total which has them ranked 23rd in the country. However, despite Mississippi's formidable defense, it is not the equivalent of Alabama's or Florida's, both of which Arkansas has already faced. The Rebels improved to 4-2 last Saturday, beating non-conference foe UAB 48-13 in Oxford. Mississippi had its best offensive outing of the year, posting 22 first downs and 501 yards in the decisive win over the Blazers. Quarterback Jevan Snead, who has thrown 12 touchdowns to nine interceptions this season, completed 15-of-22 passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns. Snead hit wideout Shay Hodge seven times for 99 yards. The aforementioned Rebels defense gave up 18 first downs and 351 yards to UAB's offense. The Blazers moved the ball effectively on the ground against Ole' Miss, racking up 230 rush yards at 5.8 yards per clip. The Rebels got the win against Arkansas last year as Houston Nutt returned to Fayetteville to snag a 23-21 victory against his old team. However, the Razorbacks covered the spread as they have done in seven of their last eight meetings against Mississippi. College Football Odds Betting Trend: Ole Miss is 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games as a home favorite with a spread between 4 and 7.5. BetUS.com Arkansas vs Mississippi College Football Odds, Picks & Predictions: Arkansas Razorbacks +6.5 (-110), Over 53.5 (-110), +210 (Moneyline) Mississippi Rebels -6.5 (-110), Under 53.5 (-110), -250 (Moneyline) Bet on sports at online sportsbook BetUS.com and receive up to 145% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today! |
