It's About Time we Hail the SEC: "The BEST Conference in College Football History", Sorry "little 10".
As of this week, there are SIX…Count them six teams from the SEC in the A.P. TOP 25:
#2 Florida
#8 Tennessee
#11 Auburn
#14 LSU
#16 Georgia
#17 Arkansas
Yes, the "little 10" has the #1 team in America Ohio State and #4 Michigan, but after that all they have is #15 Iowa (Who is as Legitimate as Enron) to make a Grand Total of 3 Teams in the Top 20.
How many National Championships has the "little 10" won legitimately in the last 20 years? Don't count the 2002 "TAINTED" National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes. We all know what happened, but it bears repeating that Terry Porter's Egregiously Late and Controversial Penalty Flag was the reason the "LUCKEYES" and that fine Asset to Society Maurice "I am one step away from being the next O.J." Clarett walked away with the trophy.

The SEC has won 4 National Championships since 1992 with '92 Alabama, '96 Florida, '98 Tennessee, and '03 LSU. 2004 Auburn with "Cadillac" Williams & Ronnie Brown should have at least had the chance to compete since Oklahoma actually got their ASS beaten worse than a "Government Mule" (Copyright WWE's Jim Ross) in the National Championship to USC. Sorry, J.R.
The 1997 Michigan Wolverines with their "HALF" of a National Championship they shared with Nebraska? Put them that year in the SEC EAST and they would have would have been fighting for Fourth Place behind Peyton Manning & Tennessee, Steve Spurrier's Florida Gators, and Hines Ward and the Georgia Bulldogs. Oh well, Lloyd Carr is no stranger to Tampa and the Outback Bowl having lost to Alabama (another SEC team) the year before.
Do you want to compare the "GIRLS IN THE SEC" to the "little 10"? NO THANKS!
Let's face it, take the Bears & Vikings away from the NFC North, and Green Bay and Detroit would probably be lucky to get Independence & Humanitarian Bowl Bids.
And last, but certainly NOT least, they have the "Single Greatest Fans in America" Period. Exclamation Point!
In closing, ALL Miami Hurricanes Fans should thank their lucky stars the CANES are NOT in the SEC! They would at least have 6 Losses this season!
Imagine the "U." having to win close games with Larry Coker matching wits with Urban Meyer, Philip Fulmer, Tommy Tuberville, or "Thee Ole Ball Coach" Steve Spurrier. That's like Fredo Corleone strategizing against General Patton!
