Jeff Gordon Chasing the Cup, NFL Week 3, Barbaro Update and Much More.Jeff Gordon Chasing the Cup

Without Jeff Gordon behind the wheel, this team might not be in the Chase. The main ingredient Gordon brings is a never-give-up attitude, which has saved the No. 24 from disaster more times than not. Gordon also knows the value of not over-racing the car, which he proved last weekend when he let Stewart take second.

Gordon can't afford to have a race like his Hendrick teammates Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch had last weekend. If he does, this team will never recover. Sunday, Gordon does Dover and it's a track he's good at. If Gordon starts up front, expect him to stay there. All four of his victories at the Monster Mile have come when he's started in the first two rows.

Don't miss this weekend's Dover 400 where the action is fast and furious. Be sure to take advantage of all our weekly driver vs. driver odds. BetRoyal is honored to put you into victory lane!

NFL Week 3

This weekend provides great NFL action. Starting with the Chicago Bears and their rock-solid defense rumbling into Minnesota to face the Vikings in an early matchup. These two clubs lay their perfect 2-0 SU & ATS record on the line in this great divisional contest.

Sunday Night Football features the Denver Broncos riding into New England to square off with the Patriots. The Broncos have yet to cash with a 0-2 ATS mark.

On MNF it will be the Atlanta Falcons soaring into New Orleans to take on the Saints. Both clubs have put smiles on the faces of their backers with a perfect 2-0 SU & ATS number.

Barbaro Continues to Recover

Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro is showing continued improvement in his long recovery from a broken right hind leg and laminitis in his left hind, according to an update issued Tuesday from the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, Pa.

A 3-year-old Dynaformer colt, Barbaro remains in intensive care at the center, where he has been since shattering his right hind leg in the May 20 Preakness.

Richardson implanted more than 20 screws and a compression plate in Barbaro's right hind leg. When Barbaro's left hind leg developed severe laminitis in July, Richardson removed much of the hoof wall, which also is showing good signs of recovery, Richardson said Tuesday
