 Alex Rodriguez was photographed in Toronto with a blonde companion that was not his wife Cynthia. The photos were published in the Wednesday edition of The New York Post with the caption "STRAY-ROD".
An attempt by Point-Spreads.com to illicit a comment from Alex Rodriguez went un-answered.
The New York Yankees are currently in the basement of the American League East, trailing the division leader and nemesis Boston Red Sox's by 14.5 games. Bodog.com has Yankees at 6 to 1 odds to win the American League Pennant.
The Post cited sources who claimed that Rodriguez dined at an upscale restaurant with the blonde woman on Sunday night before traveling with her to a high-priced strip club in Toronto.
The Yankees are currently playing a three game series against the Blue Jays.
Rodriguez and Cynthia have been married since November 2002 and have a 2.5 year old daughter named Natasha.
