After a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner in one of London’s famous restaurants, Prince Harry, 25, and Chelsy Davy, 24, have sparked rumors of a royal wedding! The oddsmaker at BETUS.com have the betting odds of a Prince Harry engagement to Chelsy Davy listed at 10 to 1 odds.
Prince Harry arranged for his on again off again Valentine to be swept away in a helicopter. The couple then dined and sipped champagne at Julie’s restaurant in West London. A witness noted: 'They were deep in conversation and looked very happy.' The eatery is a favorite amongst the royal family. Prince Charles held his bachelor party there the night before he married Diana. Julie’s is also a frequent stop for Harry’s brother Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton.
After casual dating for five years, the couple had a nasty breakup in early 2009. Reports say the breakup was Chelsy’s decision because ‘she could no longer put up with his lifestyle’. Prince Harry was constantly photographed partying in clubs, surrounded by wild women. The couple reunited only two short months after they split. They simply could not stay away from each other. Friends say Prince Harry’s Valentine’s Day plans were just one of the many ways he’s won Chelsy’s heart back. He is trying to prove his love for her to secure plans for their future.
Chelsy recently gave Prince Harry keys to her London apartment. This seems to be yet another sign that the couple is more serious than ever! According to her friends, the Prince spent a significant amount of time at the three-bedroom apartment before Chelsy left the UK at Christmas. The pair is rumored to share the master suite.
Hopefully the young couple can survive an inevitable split over the next few months. Chelsy Davy is returning to South Africa to visit friends and family before starting her career with Allen and Overy. Prince Harry will continue his training in Hampshire with the Army Air Corps. He will be promoted to Army Captain in early May. The promotion is said to be the mature step Chelsy is looking for before she agrees to a royal wedding.
