It’s finally here! The first Elimination in Season 9 of American Idol 2010! Tonight we’ll find out who will make it to Week 2… well, “Right After This Break”! The bookies don't agree with Simon's assessment and have made Andrew Garcia the 9 to 2 odds favorite to win American Idol Season 9.

ome with broken hearts after tonight’s elimination. Everyone seems to think my favorite Idol, Andrew Garcia, will stay safe tonight and probably make it to the end! Unfortunately, four contestants with bad voices will be eliminated. It looks like the first obvious cut with is Tim Urban. Others on the chopping block are: Ashley Rodriguez and Paige Mills, along with Lilly Scott, Todrick Hall, and possibly John Park.
“American Idol” has added a new feature to make the losing contestants feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Its seems producers added a departure song. “Leave Right Now” by Will Young will be played after an Idol hopeful is eliminated. This had to be Simon Cowell’s idea! Will Young was the first winner of Pop Idol in the UK. The single is currently number one on the UK charts.
