American Idol 2010 Alicia Keys Not Very Inspirational: Alicia Keys mentored the top 7 contestants of ‘American Idol’ tonight for “Inspirational” week. She seemed bored. erican Idol’ was of course by Crystal Bowersox, who has 2 to 3 odds of winning the competition. Crystal went without an instrument for the first time this season and even wore an evening gown. Keys told Crystal Bowersox to go for it on ”People Get Ready,” and she was electrifying. She chose to sing a version of People Get Ready that Simon called "in a class by itself" before she broke down in tears at the sight of her father in the audience.
This week is the “Idol Gives Back”. At the end of tonight's show, Ryan Seacrest announced that the show would likely go over tomorrow night. He advised us all to set our DVRS accordingly at 8:00 PM EST on Fox.
