American Idol 2010: Week 9 Predictions & Eliminations

by Trixie Hammer on Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

American Idol 2010 Week 9 Predictions & Eliminations: Who’s going home this week on ‘American Idol’? There was only one strong performance according to the judges and that was by Crystal Bowersox. Maybe Alicia Keys mentoring wasn’t as good as it should have been. The online sportsbook BODOG.com has made predictions on who will be the next ‘American Idol’.

I definitely think little Aaron Kelly is in trouble of elimination. Aaron’s inspirational song choice was “I Believe I Can Fly”. Alicia Keys told him to make people believe by the end of the song he is going to fly. Siobhan Magnus, with 15 to 2 odds of winning ‘American Idol’ , chose to sing “When You Believe.” Alicia was impressed with her voice and told her to take a pause before she shows them the best of her vocals.  I’m a big fan of Siobhan but she may be in danger of elimination. She needs to let her freak flag fly and just give us all the weirdness she’s got! Unfortunately, I don’t think many people will vote for her after this performance.  Michael Lynch’s performance isn’t even worth bringing up. It’s time for him to go.

Idol Gives Back begins this week, as the public is encouraged to make donations to help those less fortunate in other countries. With the results show being expanded to 2 hours, many former ‘Idol’ contestants and stars will be performing to help raise money and awareness of the needs of others.
Ryan Seacrest announced that the show would likely go over. He advised us all to set our DVRS accordingly at 8:00 PM EST on Fox.
