The 20-year-old Duncanville, Texas, native was ousted after the longest ‘Idol Gives Back’ special in the show’s history. The judges did not seem a bit surprised when Tim Urban was kicked off American Idol. Tim Urban’s performance of “Better Days” during the inspirational episode failed to impress the judges. ‘American Idol’ voters felt the same.
The American Idol stage was graced by some of the biggest names in music. Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys, and The Black Eyed Peas performed, just to name a few. This year’s ‘Idol Gives Back’ ended up being one of America’s biggest charity events in history.
