American Idol 2010 Odds Week 12: Actor/Singer Jamie Foxx is mentoring the top four final contestants on ‘American Idol’ tonight. The theme this week is “songs from the cinema”, which is overkill in my opinion. The big question tonight is will Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze, who are both tied with 1 to 1 odds of winning ‘AI’, perform a duet tonight? The online sportsbook BODOG.com has made predictions on who will be the next ‘American Idol’.
Despite earning rave reviews last week, Michael Lynche is destined to be in the 
bottom two this week and in danger of eliminated as only four contestants remain in American Idol 2010. Casey James, with 10 to 1 odds of winning the singing competition, will also be in trouble. We all know the judges love Crystal Bowersox. I just don’t get it. Granted, she’s talented, but she sounds like the street bum hanging out on the corner begging for change. Critics say, “Crystal has the perfect combination of talent and personality that will transcend past the Idol stage. She has that certain something that does not come along very often and which is fitting of the comparison to the late Janis Joplin. Her vocals are effortless and her guitar playing just sucks you in.” I’d have to disagree. She’s boring! Lee Dewyze is also a crowd favorite. I think he’s great and probably has shown the most improvement throughout the season. I’m sure Lee will go up against Crystal in the finale of ‘American Idol’. The only issue I think Lee has is his lack of confidence. Hopefully Jamie Foxx will work a little magic and convince Lee he can take this competition and be the next ‘American Idol’.
