American Idol 2010 Jamie Foxx Guest Mentors Final Four: Jamie Foxx guest mentored the remaining top four contestants on this week’s performance episode of ‘American Idol’. Lee Dewyze, with 1 to 1 odds of winning the singing competition, shined throughout his performance and even received a standing ovation. The online sportsbook BODOG.com has made predictions on who will be the next ‘American Idol’.
Jamie Foxx gave each remaining ‘Idol’ hopeful a tee shirt after his one on one
mentoring session. The shirt either read “contestant” or “artist”. First up was Lee Dewyze. After mentoring Lee, Foxx handed him a coveted “artist “shirt”. Lee hit the stage with more personality than ever and sang, “Kiss From A Rose” by Seal. Lee gained more confidence over the past week and it really showed during his time on stage. Crystal Bowersox also gave a great performance and sang, “I’m Alright” by Kenny Loggins. She sounded much better than last week and the judges raved about her performance. Jamie Foxx also gave Crystal Bowerson an “artist” tee. Casey James received an “artist” tee as well after seducing Jamie Foxx. Kara of course adored his performance. Casey James sang “Mrs. Robinson” by Simon and Garfunkal. The only contestant that didn’t receive an “artist” tee was Michael Lynche, who has 15 to 1 odds of winning the ‘Idol’ title. He sang “Will You Be There” by Michael Jackson and the judges weren’t impressed.
Producers also please the American voters by having Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze sing a duet together. It was corny but good. They performed “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard. Crystal even admitted that Lee has been her “musical crush” since the beginning of the season.
Who do you think will be eliminated tonight? ‘American Idol’ live elimination episode airs tonight, May 12th, at 9:00 PM EST. on Fox.
