Miss USA 2010: Miss California Nicole Michele Johnson 8 to 1 Odds: Representing the state of California, Nicole Michele Johnson will compete in The 59th Miss USA Pageant in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort this Sunday night, May 16th. Online sportsbook BODOG.com has posted betting odds to win the 2010 Miss America Title and Miss California Nicole Michele Johnson is the favorite with 8 to 1 odds.
Miss California Nicole Johnson is 24 years old. The Ventura County resident beat out 133 contestants last November for the Miss California crown. She blamed her win on her bright red dress saying she “stood out from the crowd.” If she wins Miss USA, Nicole will move on to Miss Universe. Miss California loves competing in pageants saying, “I love being onstage and competing in pageants. It’s an empowering position to be in, where you’re comfortable in your own skin.” The beauty queen has competed in more than six pageants since the age of 17. After winning Miss California Nicole said, “I wanted this more than anything. I don’t think I exercised more in my life. I worked with a personal trainer two days a week, did yoga two days a week and ran the other three.”
A party was recently held to celebrate Nicole Johnson’s accomplishments and wish her good luck in the upcoming Miss USA Pageant. Joined by other pageant contestants, the event was hosted by Shannon Moakler and Keith Lewis in West Hollywood. Nicole Johnson was said the laugh hysterically when she saw the cartoon Donald Trump and herself on her cake.
The 59th annual Miss USA Pageant is set for live broadcast Sunday night on NBC. Celebrity chef, Curtis Stone, will host the competition.
