Claudia Paola Suárez Fernández is the beautiful Miss Venezuela 2007. Representing the state of Merida, Suárez swept the competition and came in second in the Miss Venezuela 2006 to Ly, Jonaitias, who is moving on to the Miss Universe 2007 beauty pageant. Suárez will be going to Sanya, China December 1st to show off what she has to the world, and see if she can't clinch the crown and title of Miss World 2007 .
 
Suárez is preceded by Alexandra Federica Guzmán Diamante. Guzmán  has quite a lengthy career in the world of modeling, and with the history of her county's Miss Venezuela competition. She was the result of an emergency election in 2006 and of course, controversy surrounded the whole decision. The when she broke the three years of bad luck the country had due to not making the semi-finals. Then she was on good graces with her country. Now we will see how Suárez fares in the Miss World 2007 pageant in Sanya, China on December 1st.
