It doesn't seem like Anna Nicole Smith can ever take a breather from the media long enough to celebrate her new baby girl and to grieve over her son. She is now house hunting once again in the Bahamas because a former boyfriend is seeking her eviction from the waterfront home she has been staying at to seek refuge.
Smith used the house in Nassau as a basis for her application for permanent residency. The home is now the subject of an ownership dispute between her and a South Caroline businessman. If the court rules against her, she wants to make sure she can meet the criteria of owning a home worth atleast $500,000 needed to maintain permanent residency in the Bahamas.

Smith's former boyfriend, G. Ben Thompson, a South Carolina businessman who claims Smith has not honored an agreement to pay the mortgage, escalated the feud Friday by having the power in the home shut off. The electric was restored after a few hours however the electric company is reviewing Thompson's request.
Smith's reps are stating that Thompson is "trying shenanigans that are totally inappropriate with a woman at home with a newborn child". Her intentions for going to the island were to seek privacy during the birth of her child Dannielynn, born Sept. 7, 2006. Three days later her son Daniel past away while visiting Anna and his new sister in the hospital.
Another controversy Anna is dealing with, Larry Birkhead, claims to be the father of Smith's daughter and has filed a paternity lawsuit in Los Angeles. Smith is claiming her long time lawyer Howard K. Stern is the actual father. Stern and Smith had a commitment ceremony a few days after her son's death and have announced that they are in love and planning to spend the rest of their lives together. Birkhead claims the couple are hiding in the Bahamas in order to avoid the paternity test.

Anna is surrounded by controversy and it doesn't seem to be disappearing any time soon. It is unfortunate that her daughter will ultimately be affected by it all at some point in her life. She is a mother forced to celebrate a life and mourn the loss of her son at the same time. She needs her peace as would anyone else in her situation.
