Joey Fatone scored a perfect 10 on Dancing With The Stars tonight. Nine couples danced their booties off for the fourth round of the hit show. The two themed dances were the Paso Doble and the Waltz. Fatone's 10 was the first this season.
Judge Len Goodman made an announcement at the beginning of the show that this season’s contestants were not practicing enough. The dancers are only practicing around 13 hours per week. Last season, the couples practiced on an average of 19 hours per week. Len Goodman said his score would reflect their level of practice.
The show opened with Laila Ali, world champion female boxer and youngest daughter of sports legend Muhammad Ali, and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They danced the Paso Doble, but the judges didn’t think there was enough fire and only gave them a 21.
Olympic gold medalist Apolo Anton Ohno and his partner Julianne Hough, performed the Waltz. This duo is a fan favorite and scored a high 26.
Karina Smirnoff is Billy Ray Cyrus’ dance partner. She is beyond frustrated with teaching Cyrus dance moves. However, her hard work has paid off because the judges said Billy Ray Cyrus practiced the most this week. He is the most improved dancer on the show.
Heather Mills had some difficulty performing the Waltz this week. No, her leg did not fall off. Online sports book Bodog.com has betting odds at +675 that Heather Mills’ prosthetic leg will fall off during a dance routine.
Former NSYNC-er Joey Fatone and his partner performed the Paso Doble. They were the best performers of the evening with the highest score of the night, 28. The pair also received the first ten of the season, given by Carrie Ann Inaba.
The results will be announced tomorrow night at 9 p.m. and someone will be eliminated. After speaking with a male counterpart, Clyde will be “gliding” off the show this week unless his fan’s come to his rescue. There won’t be a repeat of last season’s athlete winner, Emmitt Smith.
This weeks scores:
Laila Ali 6/5
Yes: +675
