Vancouver, BC, September 27 – The rush to own the Screech sex tape changed from a sprint to a trot this afternoon when the North American sportsbook, BetUS.com announced that they were in final talks with actor Dustin “Screech” Diamond’s management for the rights to his controversial fifty minute, eighteen second adult video.
The popular online sportsbook, which counts over a hundred thousand members in the United States alone, beat other would-be suitors to the punch by contacting Diamond’s camp directly to initiate negotiations for an exclusive online distribution deal.
Financial arrangements of the deal could not be made available pending final approval by BetUS.com investors.
“Screech is a pop culture icon who’s begging for attention,” said BetUS.com spokesperson, Christopher Bennett. “You can’t deny the irony of a grown child star appearing in a home-made adult film.”
BetUS.com intends to offer the video free-of-charge to their customers. Non BetUS.com customers will have to pay $29.95 for the right to rip the video onto their own hard drives or video devices.
