George Michael was once again in the news for drug related issues. He was found passed out and slumped over his car in London a few days ago. Worried motorists called police to report that Michael’s car was causing an obstruction at an intersection.
It was confirmed by the local police attending the scene that Michael was picked up on suspicion of being unfit to drive and for possession of a substance believe to have been cannabis. Michael was taken to the local hospital as precaution prior to being arrested. His partner, Kenny Gross, said that George had nothing to say, “He is fine, I got him McDonald’s”.
Earlier this year, health concerns came about after Michael was found slumped over his car in Hyde Park Corner, near his home. He stated that he was fine then and later criticized the act by stating, “It was my own stupid fault as usual”.
Because of his recent antics, his bosses at Sony Music have warned Michael that he will be sacked unless he cleans up his act. They insisted he seek medical treatment for his addiction and that he needs to stop drawing unwanted attention to his personal life. He just started a 50 date sell out world tour, which is his first in 15 years. He is also set to launch a new album commemorating 25 years in the music industry. The label and tour promoters have put millions into the singer’s re-launch.
In addition to his recent arrest for drug possession, Michael was also recently found having a sexual encounter with a jobless 58 year old van driver he met while prowling the woods of Hampstead Heath, near his home, in the early morning.
Many believe the Michael is setting himself up for a fall because fans will not likely continue to support him and his erratic decisions. Michael states the reason for his drug use is because he has become a Buddhist and prays every day. The weed helps him with spiritual chanting. It’s hard to believe that he is willing to give up everything that he has spent the last few years preparing for. It’s only a matter of time before his record label will give him the shaft and following right behind will surely be his fans.
