Mary J. Blige and the Dixie Chicks lead the way with the most nominations at the 49th Annual GRAMMY Awards airing tonight on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Blige has the most nominations with eight for her best-selling, critically acclaimed album, "The Breakthrough."  Unfortunately for Blige, she was snubbed for Album of the Year, but she is up for the coveted record and song of the year GRAMMY's for her single "Be Without You."   Bodog.com has “The Breakthrough” at 1 to 3 (Bet $3.00 to win $1.00) to win the Best R&B Album of the Year Award.  MJB is scheduled to perform at this year’s show with six-time GRAMMY winners Earth, Wind & Fire and Ludacris.

The Dixie Chicks were nominated for a total of five awards for their album, "Taking the Long Way," their first release since the backlash the group received over lead singer Natalie Maines' criticism of President Bush in 2003.  The Dixie Chicks are nominated for album of the year, and for record and song of the year for their defiant anthem, "Not Ready to Make Nice."  Bodog.com has made “Taking the Long Way” the odds on favorite at 1 to 9 (Bet $9.00 to win $1.00) to win Best Country Album of the Year.  They will be performing on stage at tonight’s show.
