One of the most famous American figures to inexplicably disappear was Jimmy Hoffa, the famed president of the Teamsters Union from 1957 until he went to prison in 1967. It was well known that he had alot of enemies in his day including Robert F. Kennedy, the president's brother and the attorney general from 1961 to 1964. Hoffa ties to organized crimes are what ultimately landed him in prison but it was when those same gangsters turned against him that led to his disappearance and death. Although is body has never been found, we do know one thing is for sure, he is never coming back.

On July 30, 1975 Hoffa went to the Red Fox Restaurant outside of Detroit to allegedly meet 3 men, a Detroit labor leader, and important local mobster, and a powerful figure in New Jersey teamster politics. Hoffa arrived first around 2pm and after waiting nearly 30 mintutes because the others never arrived, he called his wife annoyed to say he would wait alittle bit longer. This was the last time she ever heard from him. At 2:45pm Hoffa was seen getting into a car with several other men in the restaurant parking lot. By FBI report, Hoffa was brought to a "peace conference" with mobster Tony Provenzano and had been killed. Although Provenzano had an alibi it doesn't mean he wasn't somehow involved. As the FBI got deeper into the investigation, the list of suspects grew and grew.

Many believe his body was mixed into the concrete that was used to construct the New York Giants stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Others believe that he was placed in a 55 gallon steel drum and carried away in a truckpossibly to a waste site in Jersey City, NJ. The list goes on and on. He was declared legally dead in 1982 however his case still remains open.
Another mystery is the wherabouts of Osama Bin Laden. He is dubbed "the world's most wanted man" because nobody seems to know where if is or if is he even alive. Many believe that he is dead mainly because his former bodyguards are in U.S custody and they would not have been captured away from their boss had he been alive.

Some believe that he is still hiding in the underground places he built during the war with the Soviet Union. The reason they believe has hasn't been on tape recently is because he may be hurt and afraid of being caught. In any taped appearances of him his left arm never moved nor was it seen. He made already have been injured.
Both stories are a mystery. Both leave many with wondering thoughts. Will they ever be found and if so will it answer any of the burning questions many have wanted to know.
