Perez Hilton should replace Rosie O'Donnell on The View |

 The search is on for Rosie O'Donnell's replacement on The View. Word on the street is Kathy Griffin is the front runner for the spot. Griffin has guest-hosted the show twice in the past two weeks, before and after O’Donnell’s departure. I personally think Griffin is hilarious and would be a great replacement for Rosie. However, I think The View should mix it up and get someone a little more controversial like Perez Hilton.
Who knows how to gossip and girl talk better than Perez Hilton? No one really. Glamour magazine’s Columnist Andrea Pomerantz couldn’t agree more. Perez Hilton is famous for his celebrity gossip blog PerezHilton.com. While Hilton is delivering breaking celebrity news, he tends to put a cruel spin on it 90% of the time. His defense: he is only saying what is on his mind and everyone else’s.
Perez is what The View could use right now, even if it’s only temporary. Throw a gay guy into the mix of three chatty opinionated women and see what happens. After all he is The “Queen of All Media.”
Other hopefuls in line for Rosie O’Donnell’s job include Roseanne Bar, Kimberly Clark and Sherry Shepard. The View has not confirmed when they will make a decision on the new co-host.
In the meantime, O’Donnell is enjoying this time off to post blogs and answer questions on her website.
