In any event, "The Apprentice" was shot this season in Southern California marking the first time the show has not been filmed in Trump's backyard of Manhattan. The popular series premieres on January 7th, 2007 at 9:30 PM EST on NBC.
Donald Trump will once again do the firing each week while 18 candidates vie for the title of "The Apprentice" and the career opportunity of a lifetime working for the legendary business tycoon. Ivanka and Trump Jr. will return for several episodes, along with previous "Apprentice" winners, as boardroom advisors to their father.

As can be expected with a series that has been around as long as this one, there are some new twists. Each week, the winning team will get to live in the luxurious mansion while the losing team huffs it outside in tents. They will even have to use outdoor showers and port-a-potties.
