 Bodog Music recording act The Vincent Black Shadow are psyched to return this year for another run on The Vans Warped Tour. Playing every date on one of the summer's hottest tours this time on a premier stage. These female-fronted Canadian rockers will be touring with such heavyweights as Coheed and Cambria, A Static Lullaby, Killswitch Engage and Bad Religion. The Warped Tour Launches June 29 in Pomona, CA. Last year's Warped Tour served as a launching pad for The Vincent Black Shadow, letting the music world know that this band is on the verge of great things. Since releasing their debut album, Fear's In The Water earlier this year, the Vancouver-based foursome of Cassandra Ford (vocals), brothers Robbie (guitar/vocals), Chris (bass/vocals), and Tony (drums) Kirkham, have been trekking the globe, playing shows with Joan Jett, The Fray, Unwritten Law and Snow Patrol. Recently, the band finished up a nationwide U.S. tour with Halifax , Greeley Estates and Madina Lake and a European trek with Kosheen. The band is looking forward to returning to the cities and fans that greeted them with open arms. The band's guitarist Rob Kirkham explains, "The greatest thing about Warped Tour is that the bands on the tour become experts on the intricate planning and design that goes into America's parking lots. The way they interweave a variety of earthly materials like asphalt, dirt, gravel and grass is a beauty that few can comprehend. We, my friends, are the lucky ones." While his brother, drummer Tony has a much simpler plan for this summer, "The beer, the port-a-potties, the BBQ, the music... sweet." This summer also marks the release of the band's brand new single, "Control." With its haunting keyboards and catchy chorus, this song is pure rock `n' roll and will be hitting up radio stations very soon. The release of "Control" follows the success of the band's first single, the cabaret-inspired "Metro," which garnered radio spins nationwide and took several cities by storm as #5 most requested on phones. The "Metro" video has also experienced major success, landing at #1 on Fuse TV's "Guilty Pleasures" and "Oven Fresh," as well as winning on mtvU's "The Freshmen."
