Tom Brady splits with Bridget Moynahan

It’s over! After three years of dating, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his actress girlfriend Bridget Moynahan have split.  A statement was made announcing Brady and Moynahan "amicably ended their three-year
relationship several weeks ago. We ask for your respect and consideration of their privacy. No further comments will be made."

Tom Brady, 29, is a two-time Super Bowl MVP who has led the New England Patriots to three NFL titles.  He was named one of People magazine’s "50 Most Beautiful People" in 2002.  Bridget Moynahan, 35, has most recently starred on the ABC television series "Six Degrees."  Her filmography includes HBO’s “Sex and the City” and such films as "Coyote Ugly" and “Serendipity.”

The break-up could be to blame for Brady’s “unusually feisty comments” he made this week directed towards the Miami Dolphins. "They're 6-7 and we're 9-4. So you tell me who's got it more figured out.”  This type of attitude is uncharacteristic of Brady.

If anyone is happy about the split it’s possible Donald Trump is.  He commented on Brady during Howard Stern’s radio show saying he was the only man good enough for his daughter Ivanka. In an interview with Playboy in 2004 Trump said this about Brady, “I kid Tom, but he's a friend of mine. I think he's a great character. I got to know him when he was a judge at a jitterbug contest I entered after the Patriots won the Super Bowl. He's a winner, and by that I mean every time he needs to make the pass he makes it.  You have other guys in the NFL and in life who have all the equipment but don't make the pass. I think Tom's a great guy, and I think he and Ivanka would make a great combination… Tom Brady would make any father-in-law proud.”
