 David Hasselhoff is stunned by all the support he has received from his celebrity friends after video footage of him intoxicated emerged earlier this month. His teenage daughter, Taylor, shot the footage while visiting him in Las Vegas. Hasselhoff appears extremely drunk in the video. He is attempting to eat a Wendy’s hamburger while his daughter reprimands him for drinking. The video, which was most likely leaked to the media by his ex-wife Pamela Bach, caused officials to temporarily suspend his custody rights to his daughters. Bach was fighting for full custody. Despite the humiliating video and an exchange of bitter words between the ex-couple, Hasselhoff won back the right to visit his two children. He says, “Everybody has called or written to me and said, `we know who you are as a person, we know what your relationship is with your children, and the truth will be told’.” The Hoff is also grateful to his loyal fans and says, “My fans have been overwhelmingly positive and no matter where I go, nobody says anything negative to me. They’re all like, `We’re rooting for you!’” David Hasselhoff filed for divorce in January 2006. Pamela Bach claims the actor filed for divorce after he heard she was seeking an attorney. Despite their bitter split, Bach says she will always love Hasselhoff. David Hasselhoff will be returning as a judge to the second season of America’s Got Talent. The 2-Hour Season Premiere will air June 5th at 8:00 PM EST on NBC.
