I am sure most of you by now have heard of K-Fed aka Kevin Federline or Mr. Britney Spears. Whichever you choose, it all refers to one rapper/back up dancer that has been the topic of discussion for the last few years.
Kevin Federline was a back-up dancer for Britney Spears when their relationship bloomed. Only one catch, he was seeing girlfriend Shar Jackson at the time when she was prego with their second child together. Talk about adultery! After the paparazzi learned this news, they soaked up pics of the hot new couple while Spears was on her “Onyx Tour” and blasted pics of them together all over the place. Two months later Jackson gave birth to their son and quickly became a single mother of two. Soon after, Spears and Federline wed in a surprise ceremony in their home in Studio City, CA. Not long after they became husband and wife, Britney announced she was expecting a little one. Sean Preston was born to Britney and Kevin on September 14, 2005. Since his birth Spears and Federline have been under close watch because on a few occasions Sean Preston had close calls. One of those occasions was when Sean took a major fall from his high chair which resulted in a minor skull fracture and a blood clot. After he was taken to the hospital the doctors reported the case to the Department of Children and Family Services and the next day they were knocking on the Spears’ door to investigate.
After all of this, Britney announces she is yet again pregnant. Due at the end of this year, this will be her second child and K-Fed’s fourth. With a growing family, Federline better get a day job. Trying his hand at rapping, with his wife’s blessing of course, Federline’s first solo album, Playing with Fire, is due out in October. His first single, PopoZao, was released to the public under parody and ridicule as did a clip from the track, Y’all Ain’t Ready, which leaked on the internet in November 2005 and is featured on his album. Federline recently performed at the Teen Choice Awards. His performance was widely panned by the hip hop community as a joke. He also confirmed back in March 2006 that he would do a promotional club tour to major US cities however, he hasn’t been performing, just watching the crowd’s reaction to his tracks. No body can take him seriously or respect him because after all he is just Britney’s man. There is not much hope for Federline’s rap career or his marriage for that matter. At this point, it’s only a matter of time before his 15 minutes of fame fade away.
