Paris Hilton was cited for a misdemeanor driving with a suspended license and was released by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s deputies after she was pulled over for driving down Sunset Boulevard in her $200,000 convertible Bentley Continental GTC without her lights on.
The hotel heiress and star of "The Simple Life" had her Bentley towed away and the car will be impounded for 30 days. Paris bought the car as a Christmas present for herself back in December 2006.
In January 2007, Paris Hilton pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving stemming from a September 7th, 2006 arrest for driving her Mercedes with an alcohol level equal to the legal limit in Hollywood and was sentenced to probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.
"When she called me, she asked if her license was suspended," stated Paris Hilton’s publicist Elliot Mintz. "If that's the case, she and I are unaware of it."
The Los Angeles city attorney's office said it will ask a judge to revoke the heiress's 36-month probation from a previous reckless driving offense if it's determined she was behind the wheel without a valid license.
