Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham was offered a spot on the next season of Dancing With The Stars. Beckham is reportedly taking the proposal “very seriously” after noticing how well it went for fellow Brit Heather Mills. The Beckham’s are currently house hunting in Los Angeles. They plan on moving this summer when David Beckham joins the LA Galaxy soccer team in July.
Victoria Beckham is not as well known in the US. She is still known as her former image, Posh Spice. Doing a show like Dancing With The Stars will reintroduce her to the American public, helping her new image.
An ABC source told the British newspaper The Sun, “We are halfway through the series and it has been massive. A lot is down to Heather.”
“We really want Victoria. She's not very popular right now, like Heather wasn't. That's why she'd be perfect. Also, she might get pals like Tom Cruise and Jennifer Lopez to watch her.”
Victoria is a good candidate for the show. She already has dance experience. Beckham’s fellow former Spice Girl Emma Bunton appeared on the British show Strictly Come Dancing last year. Maybe Victoria Beckham will follow in her footsteps.
