Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Jets NFL Picks, NFL Odds & NFL Predictions: The 2009 NFL regular season will conclude tonight with a clash between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New York Jets. The game is set to get underway at 8:20pm ET at Giants Stadium; it will be broadcast live on NBC's Sunday Night Football. NFL Picks at online sportsbook Bookmaker.com have the Jets listed as a -9.5 against the spread home favorite.

Cincinnati wrapped up the AFC North last weekend with a 17-10 win at Paul Brown Stadium over a surprisingly game Chiefs Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Jets NFL Picks, Odds & Predictionssquad. The victory improved the Bengals record to 10-5, putting them out of reach of Baltimore, which fell 20-23 at Pittsburgh. Given that Cincinnati cannot earn a playoff bye, it would be somewhat unusual for the Bengals starters to play the entire game tonight. However, perhaps Head Coach Marvin Lewis, if for nothing else than the integrity of the game, will provide the Jets the challenge that every other playoff contending squad in the AFC thinks they deserve.

The Bengals are 4-3 away from home this year where they has been outscored by an average of one point per game. Cincinnati has lost its last three road games, falling at Oakland, Minnesota, and San Diego.

New York improved to 8-7 last week, handing the Colts their first loss of the season with a 29-15 victory at Lucas Oil Stadium. The key win put the Jets in prime position to secure a Wild Card spot as they are one of just two teams (Baltimore) that can get into the playoffs with a win and no assistance. If the Jets beat Cincinnati this evening, they will be postseason bound under rookie Head Coach Rex Ryan.

New York has not exactly been the best home team in the league this season, though. The Jets are 3-4 at the Meadowlands where they are averaging a pathetic 17.7 points per game. Thankfully, for New York fans, Ryan's defense has held visitors to an even worse 16 points per contest. The Jets are just 1-4 in their last five home games, losing to Buffalo, Miami, Jacksonville, and Atlanta.

NFL Picks Betting Trend: The Bengals are 2-8 straight up in their last 10 games as a road dog with a spread between 8 and 10.5 (Under is 8-2 in those games).
