Baltimore Ravens 2010 Superbowl Line, Predictions & Picks

Baltimore Ravens 2010 Superbowl Line, Predictions & Picks: The Baltimore Ravens maintained their road warrior playoff image last week with a huge upset of the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. The victory, however, did little to inspire any belief that John Harbaugh's squad will be the eventual AFC representative in Super Bowl XLIV. Baltimore Ravens 2010 Superbowl Line, Predictions & Picks at online bookmaker BetUS.com have the team listed at +1200 moneyline odds to make it to Miami.

Baltimore won its sixth road playoff game in its last seven tries on Sunday, dispatching the Patriots 33-14 in Foxborough. Baltimore Ravens 2010 Superbowl Line, Predictions & PicksThe Ravens capitalized on three early New England turnovers and jumped out to a 24-0 first quarter lead, giving the victory a somewhat fluky nature. Granted the defense played a solid game and Ray Rice was outstanding, but the Pats early miscues made them a one-dimensional team for the majority of the game.

Baltimore, which is 4-5 on the road this season after last week's win, produced just 268 yards of offense and 16 first downs. Quarterback Joe Flacco, who was all but eliminated from the game plan after the Ravens first quarter boon, was horrendous in his limited role, completing 4-of-10 passes for 34 yards and one interception. While the second year passer seems unflappable, how will he perform if his team is trailing in a loud dome stadium with the season on the line?

The Ravens will not see another game like the one against the Patriots in these Playoffs. Last Sunday's game was the type of outing a team experiences maybe two or three times, at best, throughout the course of a season. If Baltimore beats Indy today it will not be in the same fashion and if they go on to face either New York or San Diego in the AFC Championship, that too will be played much differently. Given that, even with a suspect Mark Sanchez under center, the Jets are probably the better play among the AFC longshots at +1800 Super Bowl odds.
