Minnesota Vikings 2010 Superbowl Line, Predictions & Picks: Minnesota will finally get an opportunity to realize the fruits of its regular season labors today as they take on the Dallas Cowboys at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. The Vikings are hoping the results are good as their hearts are set on a February trip to the Sunshine State. Minnesota's Super Bowl betting projections are modest at best, though. Current Minnesota Vikings 2010 Superbowl Line, Predictions & Picks at online bookmaker Sportsbook.com have the team listed at +600 moneyline odds to win the championship.

No team received more offseason hype than the Minnesota Vikings given the team's flirtation and eventual signing of Minnesota Vikings 2010 Superbowl Line, Predictions & Picksfuture Hall of Famer Brett Favre. Favre, whose football persona is bigger than life, brought a great deal of attention and increased expectations to the franchise, which seemed to view itself as a quarterback away from playoff greatness. The Vikings will now get the chance to prove whether or not their musings were correct.

Minnesota stormed its way to a 10-1 record before falling on hard times in the final few weeks of the regular season. The Vikings dropped three of their last five games and puked away a great opportunity to secure the top seed in the NFC as both the offense and defense struggled. Brad Childress' troops gave up 92 points in losses to Arizona, Carolina, and Chicago (all on the road) and they averaged a mere 18 per game with Favre and Childress bickering over play calling.

Despite that period of woes, there is far more positive than negative when it comes to the Vikings. Minnesota ranked fifth in the league in yards per game (379), second in scoring (19.4), second in rush defense (87.1), and 10th in points per game allowed (29.5). The Vikes also secured the strongest home field advantage in football after going 8-0 at the Metrodome where they outscored opponents by an average of 17.3 points per game.

For Favre's part, he put together a 107.2 passer rating after throwing for 4202 yards (68.4 completion percentage) and 33 touchdowns (seven interceptions).

The current Cowboys craze has relegated Minnesota to the background, but it has also made the Vikings Superbowl Line highly attractive at 6 to 1 odds.
