The Colts RB Joseph Addai was part of the 2007 Superbowl team in which he scored the winning touchdown. His other shinning NFL moment was being named to the 2007 Pro-Bowl squad. In 2006 Addai tied a Colts franchise record for most rushing touchdowns in a game as well as the NFL rookie record by rushing for 4 TD’s. That same year Addai led all rookie running backs in rushing yards with 1,081. He also became the first NFL running back to exceed 1,000 rushing yards without starting a regular-season game. His first official start came in the Colts/Chiefs Wildcard playoff game. During the game he had 25 carries for 122 yards with a TD, he also caught seven passes for 26 yards. In the Divisional round they beat the Baltimore Ravens and their strong defense to set up a AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots where Addai scored the game-winning touchdown with 1:00 remaining, giving the Colts a victory and a trip to Super Bowl XLI. The Colts went on to win the game with their rush attack, dominating the Chicago defense. Addai had 77 rushing yards and 10 receptions for 66 yards, for 143 total yards. His 10 receptions were the most ever by a running back in a Super Bowl, which left him one catch short of the overall record .

The 2009-10 season Joseph Addai and his Colts finished the regular season with a 14-2 SU record, finishing atop the AFC with a first round bye and home field advantage throughout playoffs.  He had 828 total yards rushing and is their top scorer with 13 TD’s. In their first playoff game against Baltimore, at home, Addai had 11 carries for 23 yards, his longest was seven yards. The Colts running game is ranked worst in the league as they tent to let QB Peyton Manning throw the ball.

The Colts next opponent is the NY Jets, at home, where they face their eighth ranked rush defense.
