Crazy Super Bowl Bets

by Alexander Banks on Friday, February 1st, 2008

Crazy Super Bowl BetsWho says that placing crazy Super Bowl Bets can’t be fun in this week’s matchup between the New York Giants and New England Patriots?  While there is certainly some great angles and twists as the game approaches with questions on whether or not the Patriots will stay perfect, or if Eli Manning will continue his great play, or even if Tom Brady will be effective with his supposed ankle injury, there are other crazy ways to look at this game.  In fact, with some of the most unconventional angles available BetOnline.com adds a bit more craziness to an already crazy week of pre Super Bowl hype.

If you like golf you can make crazy Super Bowl bets on whether Patriot WR Randy Moss will have more receptions that golfer Tiger Woods will have birdies in the fourth round of his tournament.  If you feel that Randy Moss will have more receptions that Tiger Birdies in the fourth round then you lay 115 to make 100.  Oddly enough taking Tiger to make more birdies than Moss has receptions will cost you the same 115 to make 100.

For those of you who like College Hoops than there’s a crazy bet that looks at the longest touchdown pass in yards versus the number of points that Northwestern will score in their game.  If you think that the touchdown pass will yield more yardage than points than you can have that bet at +9.5/-115.  The Northwestern point total going higher than the longest touchdown pass proposition yields a -9.5/-115.

When can you compare some of the biggest superstars in different sports in one bet?  Well, how about whether or not Tom Brady will have more completions than Kobe Bryant has field goal attempts.  If you believe that Tom Brady will have more completions you can get him at a cool -1.5/-115.  The other way gives us Kobe at +1.5/115.

Then finally in one of the more entertaining and crazy Super Bowl Bets how about whether or not there will be more QB sacks in the Super Bowl than Jaromir Jagr has shots on goal in his game.  To go to the side of more QB sacks will cost you -135 and if you think that Jaromir will get more shots than sacks you can get that for even money at +100.

While there certainly will be lots of action on one of the most recognized sporting events in the world it might not hurt to get a little crazy with your Super Bowl Bets.
