Super Bowl Bets: Will New England Patriots Cheat Today? PDF Print E-mail

Bettors looking to place their Super Bowl bets yesterday woke up to read that the Boston Herald reported an unidentified source had told them that a member of the New England Patriots' video staff taped the St. Louis Rams last walk-through at the Superdome in New Orleans a day before Super Bowl XXXVI.  New England went on to beat the heavily favored Rams 20-17 and Tom Brady was named the 2002 Super Bowl MVP of that game.  BetOnline.com has the New England Patriots as –12.5 point favorites to win Super Bowl XLII .

"We were aware of the rumor months ago and looked into it," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Associated Press. "There was no evidence of it on the tapes or in the notes produced by the Patriots, and the Patriots told us it was not true."

At this point, the Patriots have probably accumulated so much secret footage on other teams that Brady has it all memorized.  How else can you explain his perfect execution all season.  I realize the guy is smart and a hard worker, however knowing where the players will be and what defensives are being called gives you a tremendous leg up and has kept the Patriots one step of their opponents at all times.

As a Miami Dolphins fan, I will always consider the 1972 team the only truly undefeated team in NFL History.  Even Anna Cleavage, popular Gambling911.com Picks Expert, sounded off on the “Cheatriots” stating “I only hope that Strahan will get through a gap bigger then his teeth and show Tom Brady what the Giants think of cheaters. Giants by 3!”

You can see a video of Anna Cleavage and the Gambling911.com Girls correctly making her prediction two weeks ago that the New York Giants will be going to Arizona.  She urged her clients to get their Super Bowl bets in early when the odds were +1400 for the Giants to win the Super Bowl before the NFC Championship kicked off.

BetOnline.com has posted Super Bowl XLII odds to win between the New England Patriots vs New York Giants game at 6:20 PM EST:

New England Patriots: -12.5

New York Giants: +12.5

TOTAL Over/Under 54 Points
