Brees completed 40-of-63 pass attempts for 444 yards and six touchdowns in the Saints Playoff victories over Arizona and Minnesota (Averages: 32 attempts, 20 completions, 222 yards, 3 touchdowns per game). In five career postseason outings Brees has completed 118 of his 186 pass attempts for 1360 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions (Averages: 37 attempts, 24 completions, 272 yards, 2.2 touchdowns per game).

The Purdue graduates' numbers average out as follows: 33 attempts, 23 completions, 269 yards, and 2.2 touchdowns per game.

The final breakdown has Manning averaging four more attempts, one more completion, 15 more yards, and 0.3 fewer touchdowns per game. Close numbers indeed from two excellent quarterbacks.
