2010 Oakland Raiders Needs: Quarterback, Offensive Tackle, Linebacker, Defensive Tackle, Defensive End, Cornerback, Wide Receiver
Possible First Round Picks:
Jimmy Clausen (QB – Notre Dame): Are the Raiders willing to admit that JaMarcus Russell is a bust? Everyone else knows it so why shouldn't they? Drafting Clausen at eight would be their first public admission to that effect. Regardless of any flaws Clausen may have, they pale in comparison to Russell's blemishes. An immediate upgrade at the most valuable position on the field.
Anthony Davis (OT – Rutgers): While Russell stinks out loud, he was not aided, nor was Gradkowski, by an offensive line that yielded 49 sacks. Davis' stock has fallen some in recent weeks, but the big man is still considered a top 32 pick. Oakland would probably prefer Okung or Trent Williams, but both of those players will probably be gone by the time the Raiders pick.
Dan Williams (DT – Tennessee): The Raiders ranked 29th in the league in rushing yards allowed last season. This is another case where Oakland would like to have Ndamukong Suh or Gerald McCoy, but Williams is considered the next best thing. First day starter who would command a double team.
