2010 Carolina Panthers Needs: Wide Receiver, Defensive Line, Quarterback
Possible First Round Picks:
Arrelious Benn (WR – Illinois): The Panthers two most productive receivers, Mushin Muhammad and Steve Smith, are 36 and 30 respectively. Benn had his junior season cut short due to injury but he caught 67 passes for 1055 yards as a sophomore. Would give Carolina some much needed help on the outside.
Carlos Dunlap (DE – Florida): With Julius Peppers now in Chicago, Carolina could use another defensive end. Dunlap is considered a first round talent by many, but character issues may push him into the second round. He produced 18 sacks for the Gators over the past two seasons, and at 6' 6" 278lbs. he figures to be a difference maker at the next level.
Tim Tebow (QB – Florida): Matt Moore did a respectable job after taking over at quarterback last season, but he is far from a proven commodity. If Tebow is still around at 48, Carolina may find him difficult to look past. The guy is a proven winner and he has shown a committment this offseason to work out the kinks in his low throwing motion.
