NFL Week 1 Preseason Odds: The Bills and Titans are set to get the 2009 NFL preseason underway this evening as they square off against each other in the annual Hall of Fame game. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00pm ET tonight at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The game will be televised live on NBC's Sunday Night Football. The Bills, after finishing 7-9 the last three seasons under Head Coach Dick Jauron, have plenty of things to look at during the preseason. Not the least of which is how their lackluster passing game will look with a healthy Trent Edwards at quarterback and new addition Terrell Owens at receiver. Owens has Hall of Fame credentials as a pass catcher and his presence alone should greatly aid his talented counterpart, wide receiver Lee Evans.

Buffalo also has a couple of new starters along the offensive line in Langston Walker and Geoff Hangartner. Hangartner, an off-season acquisition, will play center while Walker moves from the right tackle position over to left tackle to replace Jason Peters.

Tennessee enters the preseason in a much better position than the Bills, having finished 13-3 a season ago and 10-6 in 2007. The club does not have many weaknesses, but they will have to get used to life without all-world defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth plugging up things in the middle for them. Haynesworth signed with the Redskins in the off-season; he will likely be replaced by Jason Jones or 2009 second round draft pick Sen'Derrick Marks.

The Titans also had 11 draft picks this year. Head Coach Jeff Fisher will obviously spend a good deal of time during the preseason figuring out which of those players he wants to keep on the roster.
