Carolina Panthers 2010 NFL Predictions & 2011 Super Bowl Predictions: Point-Spreads.com is breaking down the Carolina Panthers out of the NFC South Division. The 2010 NFL Predictions Experts at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Carolina Panthers +4500 odds to win Super Bowl XLV.

PROS: After a tough start, the Carolina defense developed into one of the best in the league over the second half of 2009 and finished in the top 10 in the NFL in points (9th) and yards allowed (8th). They were especially tough against the pass as they allowed the second fewest touchdown passes in the league and intercepted 22 passes.

Offensively, they possess the strongest one two running punch in the league with Pro Bowler DeAngelo Williams and emerging standout Jonathan Stewart. Having a pair of talented runners will take pressure off the young quarterbacks. The Panthers also have a solid offensive line that may not include any big names but helped the Panthers finished third in the NFL in rushing yards a year ago. Statistically, wide receiver Steve Smith didn't have one of his best seasons but he remains a key target and will help either quarterback.

The 2010 NFL Predictions Experts at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Carolina Panthers +2000 odds to win the 2011 NFC Championship Title.

CONS: After winning four of five starts, Matt Moore entered the season as the starting quarterback. Givn that the Panthers have NFL Playoff aspirations, it is surprising that the Panthers do not have a veteran quarterback on the roster. Instead, if Moore struggles you can expect to see Jimmy Clausen to get a chance to earn the spot. Finding a capable receiver to team with Smith is also a key for the Panthers. Defensively the loss of Julius Peppers will certainly be notice but second year player Everett Brown will look to fill the pass rushing void.

The 2010 NFL Predictions Experts at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Carolina Panthers +500 odds to win the NFC South.
