Buffalo Bills 2010 NFL Predictions & 2011 Super Bowl Predictions: Point-Spreads.com is breaking down the Buffalo Bills out of the AFC East Division. The 2010 NFL Predictions Experts at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Buffalo Bills +9000 odds to win Super Bowl XLV.
PROS: Free safety Jarius Byrd was a pleasant surprise in his rookie season as he tied for the NFL lead in interceptions while making the Pro Bowl. The Bills had the second best pass defense in the NFL last season but part of the reason may have been that their running defense ranked 30th in the league.
Another player who rose to a higher level in 2009 was running back Fred Jackson. Replacing Marshawn Lynch in the lineup during his early season suspension, Jackson not only rushed for over 1,000 yards but also broke the 1,000 yard mark in kick returns to lead the NFL in all purpose yards. With the addition of CJ Spiller, it is doubtful that former 1,000 yard back Marshawn Lynch will remain with the Bills but if Buffalo does keep Jackson, Spiller and Lunch, they will have an outstanding running attack.
The 2010 NFL Predictions Experts at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Buffalo Bills +4500 odds to win the 2011 AFC Championship Title.
CONS: The Bills have basically been looking for a quarterback ever since Jim Kelly retired more than a decade ago. While Ryan Fitzgerald, Trent Edwards and Brian Brohm to all be given a chance to earn the starting spot. The Terrell Owens experiment was a dud for the Bills as he is no longer the explosive star of the past. However, the good news for the Bills is that he didn't take down the franchise in his wake. Lee Evans is the top receiver on a weak unit that doesn't provide the quarterbacks with much support. The Bills must improve a defensive front that allowed opponents to rush for 156 yards per contest a year ago.
