PROS: With impact defenders Brian Urlacher, Julius Peppers and Lance Briggs on the roster, the Bears have three of the best defensive players of the last decade. The biggest question mark is the 32 year old Urlacher, who missed most of last season due to injury. If he is able to return to health and previous form, the defense should improve on their performance of a year ago when they ranked 17th in the league in yards allowed and 21st in total defense.

Cutler, who was acquired from Denver in a blockbuster trade before the season, never appeared comfortable and was inconsistent throughout the season. With new offensive coordinator Mike Martz, there are high hopes in Chicago that Cutler can become the superstar quarterback that many believe he has the talent to become.
The question around Forte is whether he will be able to regain the form he displayed as a rookie. The Bears also must improve their receiving corps as it doesn't appear that Devin Hester is capable of becoming a number one receiver.
