Cleveland Browns 2010 NFL Predictions & 2011 Super Bowl Predictions: Point-Spreads.com is breaking down the Cleveland Browns out of the AFC North Division. The 2010 NFL Predictions Experts at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Cleveland Browns +7500 odds to win Super Bowl XLV.
PROS: Multi-purpose performer Josh Cribbs was among the most electrifying players in the NFL in 2009. He is the best kickoff and punt returner in the league and has seen increased opportunities to touch the ball on offense. The Browns had the eight best rushing attack in the NFL last season led by Jerome Harrison. Cleveland's offensive line is solid led by Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas and center Alex Mack, who started all 16 games as a rookie in 2009. The defense ranked 31st in the NFL in yards allowed and 21st in points allowed.
The 2010 NFL Predictions Experts at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Cleveland Browns +3500 odds to win the 2011 AFC Championship Title.
CONS: The quarterback tandem of Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson proved to be a disappointment and both players are now wearing different uniforms. Former Carolina starting quarterback Jake Delhomme was let go by the Panthers after a sub par season, but he appears to be the likely starter for the Browns in 2010. Seneca Wallace who played for Mike Holmgren in Seattle but was never a full time starter could also see action at quarterback this season. The receiving corps isn't particularly strong, but second year receiver Mohamed Massaquoi is the best of the bunch.
The Browns have weaknesses all across the defense and will have a number of new starters in 2010 as they look to improve their ranking from a year ago. Look for former Eagles Sheldon Brown to move immediately into the secondary. At linebacker, David Bowens is a returning starter but the rest of the unit will likely be new faces.
