Vikings vs 49ers Lines 2010 NFL Preseason Week 2: A rematch of the 2009 week three epic game features the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Minnesota Vikings in the Sunday night preseason game for this weekend at 8 PM ET. The Vikings vs. 49ers NFL Betting Point Spread have the 49ers at -3 at SBGGLOBAL.com
This has been a pretty moved week for the Vikings, first after Brett Favre let the world know he is coming back to play football (a shocker by the way) for his 20 th consecutive season and telling the Minnesota's front office know that their obsessive crying worked. But also because wide receiver Percy Harvin collapsed on Thursday during a training session due to some migraine headaches. It seems that for them it was everything but a regular week.
The Vikes beat the St. Louis Rams (who doesn't?) last week 28-7 with a pretty good performance by QB Sage Rosenfels who threw for 310 yards, three TDs and no pick. The other QB Joe Webb also scored a touchdown and Tavaris Jackson barely saw a few minutes on the field.
It was reported that coach Brad Childress said Brett Favre will play a series or two in the game against the 49ers this Sunday. However expect Rosenfels to be the main man behind the center of the Vikings offensive and expect him to have a good game, nothing compare to the match against the Rams.
The 49ers on the other side are coming of a sweet victory 37-17 over the Indianapolis Colts where their bench took advantage of the open spaces Indy gave them. QB David Carr looked impressively good throwing for 98 yards and one score but the start of the match was Anthony Dixon who ran for a 100 yards and one touchdown.
Many people will be watching Brett Favre closely, especially his ankle but if you are going to bet this game it will all come down to Rosenfels performance for the Vikings offense.
