The Bears lost against the Raiders 32-17 last week and 25-10 against the Chargers in week one but the problems are not the losses but the way they have lost. Coach Lovie Smith it's suppose to be a defensive mind, however they bear have look pretty bad on D allowing 336.5 total yards on average in the first two matches.
On offense they haven´t looked good either, Jay Cutler threw for 99 yards and one touchdown against the Raiders but he was sacked five times in the game; if the Bears want Cutler to be their starting franchise QB, they need to protect him better. RB Matt Forte was the best against the Raiders rushing for 109 yards and one touchdown in just five attempts.
On the other side Arizona did not look good in the Monday Night showdown loss against the Tennessee Titans 24-10. QB Matt Leinart failed to give his squad a first down on the three drives he directed in the first quarter before giving way to Derek Anderson. Leinart went 4 for 6 for 28 yards. All three quarterbacks used by Arizona (Leinart, Anderson and rookie Max Hall) against the Titans recorded passer ratings in the 70s or worse. The best player of the Cardinals in that match was WR Max Komar, expect the QBs to keep looking for him.
The bottom line is that both teams and coaches have true QB issues. Cutler and Leinart (both 2006 drafted) plus Derek Anderson have struggled to keep a good rhythm in their careers. Expect a game where the three QB will try to show they are built to lead each team in the regular season.
