The Titans evened their preseason record at 1-1 on Monday night with a 24-10 stomping of the 
Arizona Cardinals. Tennessee, which led 10-3 at halftime, racked up 22 first downs and 366 yards as Vince Young completed 9-of-13 passes for 128 yards.
Running back Chris Johnson had pedestrian rushing numbers against Arizona's first team defense, but the East Carolina product did score on an eight yard run.
Several rookies stood out in the win, including wide receiver Damien Williams, who had four receptions for 40 yards, and linebacker Rennie Curran. Curran had five tackles in helping the defense hold the Cardinals to 295 total yards and just 3-of-15 on third down.
The Titans first round pick, defensive end Derrick Morgan, has yet to play in the preseason due to hamstring and calf injuries; however, the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket is scheduled to see limited action tonight after returning to practice earlier this week.
Carolina, which has scored 15 points in two preseason contests, dropped to 0-2 in exhibition play after falling 9-3 at home to the Jets. Both offenses looked like high school squads in the game with New York totaling seven first downs and 112 yards and the Panthers racking up a grand total of nine first downs and 175 yards.
Carolina quarterbacks Jimmy Clausen and Matt Moore sent a shiver down John Fox's spine, combining to go 15-for-39 for 93 yards and two interceptions in the loss.
There were, of course, many bright spots on defense as the Jets' poor numbers would indicate. Defensive ends Everette Brown and Eric Moore were the biggest, though, as each player had two sacks and three tackles for loss.
