Titans vs Panthers Lines 2010 NFL Preseason Week 3: The Carolina Panthers will be looking to achieve their first preseason win this Saturday when they host the Tennessee Titans at 8 PM ET. The Titans vs. Panthers NFL Betting Point Spread have the Panthers -3 at BETUS.com
John Fox and the Panthers are 0-2 straight up and against the spread in the 2010 preseason; they are coming off a poor performance in the defeat 9-3 against the New York Jets in week two. The Carolina offense recorded only 175 yards and failed to score a TD but the most shocking thing was the five turnovers they committed against the Rex Ryan team.
Neither Matt Moore nor Jimmy Clausen looked good throwing the ball, Moore threw for 57 yards with one interception and Clausen threw for 72 yards and one pick. Wide receivers Kenny Moore and Armanti Edwards and the cornerback Jordan Pugh all lost fumbles also in the game. NFL betting fans should know QB Clausen is developing and he is trying to put the ball in really tight spots but that also ends in easy takeaways for the opponents' defense.
The Panthers running game didn´t look good either, they are barely ran 82 yards with six different players, however expect DeAngelo Williams to spend a lot of time on the field, more than in the first two games.
Unlike the Panthers, the Tennessee Titans did look impressive in the second of the preseason after walking off with a 24-10 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in a Monday night showdown. Vince Young played the first four series, going 9 for 13 for 128 yards with no picks. He also ran for 10 yards and led his team to a field goal and a TD on his final two drives.
If the Panthers continue to make risky plays then the Titans secondary will definitely take advantage of it, they have great playmakers on the secondary than could make a huge game changer play any second. Your best bet here are the Titans, so far they have looked more solid as a team than Carolina.
